What is the essence of traditional Chinese culture? Why is interest in traditional Chinese culture rising amongst more and more young Chinese people? What can be done to encourage and promote that trend?
Just before Spring Festival, Cultural Keys' co-founder Andrew James was invited to join a panel discussion on CGTN's 'World Insight' show, to talk about the resurgence of traditional Chinese culture, especially at Spring Festival.
The panel, consisting of Professor Teng Jimeng, Beatrice Leanza and Andrew James, and hosted by Tian Wei, discussed the growing push to let more people, both Chinese and non-Chinese, know more about China's history and culture, and the various ways in which that is happening in modern society.
Here is the full show that was broadcast on February 6th, the second day of the Lunar New Year in China.
It was an honour for AJ to be invited and to be given the chance to talk about subjects so close to his heart and so central to his life.
On behalf of both AJ, and Cultural Keys, we are very glad to have had the opportunity to be a small part of the conversation, and offer our thanks to both Tian Wei and the whole World Insights team!
