ENG SHUI
The ancient Chinese believed that 'qi', or energy, was directed by landscapes and could flow like water into and around structures.
They also believed it could be manipulated by moving to where the environment was more conducive to the better flow of qi or, if that wasn't possible, changing things in the immediate environment to have the same effect.
This type of compass is commonly associated with feng shui, and often used by expert practitioners, but it isn't necessary to improve your feng shui.
While today feng shui is regarded by some as a pseudoscience, many of the principles involved are logical, simple to implement and cause many people to feel more comfortable in their environments, and therefore experience improvements in their lives.
Join Cultural Keys online on November 27th for a fascinating presentation on the essential things to know about feng shui, including the basic principles and how to make simple changes to your surroundings that may help improve your life!
