China is a vast country, and each province has its own folk arts and crafts. However, there are some which are found all over the country, and have become famous as typically Chinese arts and crafts. Which one came about after an emperor's favourite concubine died? Which one is probably more than 7000 years old? Which ones could you try at home? Find out the answers to these questions and more fascinating facts in our online presentation!
Join Cultural Keys online on December 18th to learn about the history, stories and techniques behind paper cutting, weaving with grass or palm fronds, sugar painting, sugar blowing, dough figurines and shadow play.
