适合背诵的英语文章（十八）

众所周知,要想学好英语,词汇起着重要的作用.如果把语言比作大厦,语法就是建构大厦的结构设计图纸,词汇则是建筑材料.设计的再好,没有砖瓦材料,根本建不起大厦,没有词汇,语法学的再好,也学不好英语的听说读写。

不过,不能让学生孤零零地记忆单词,应该让他们把语法规则、词汇和语音语调整体记忆,音、意、形、用整体记忆。只记住单词的意思远远不够,还要知道这个单词的用法和合适的语境,因此通过文章的记忆比单纯的词汇表记忆有效得多。给学生们精选一些适合的文章显得尤为重要。

小学篇

以“My Friend”为题，介绍一下你的好朋友，写出他（她）的个性特征。

My Friend

随着网络的发展，人们消费观念转变，购物方式也在悄然地发生变化。“网购”成为一种时尚，越来越多的学生也正加入到网购群体中。请你根据以下表格的提示，写一篇网上购物的文章。

优点

1.足不出户；节约时间；避免拥挤、劳累。

2.价格通常比较便宜。

3.可供选择的范围广，品种多。

缺点

1.只能看到图片，看不到商品本身。

2. 容易购买大量不太需要的东西，造成浪费。

注意：

1.所表述的内容必须包含表格中的所有方面；

2.80词左右，开头文章已给出，不计入总词数。

You can avoid getting tired and being trapped in the crowded people and cars and save time. When shopping online, you can choose from more varieties of goods, whose prices are generally lower.

Every coin has two sides. Its disadvantages are obvious, too. On the one hand, it’s very easy for you to buy goods different from the pictures you see on the Internert.

Tuan was a farmer in Vietnam. For decades, he had been struggling to rid his family of hunger. However, it always confused him how to expand the output of his crops. This disturbing problem led to his regretting being a farmer. He would rather have chosen another job.

One day, when skimming through a newspaper, Tuan read a comment on Yuan Longpin. He underlined Yuan’s nationality and occupation, and then focused on his discovery and the statistics of his research. He found the knowledge Yuan circulated very practical. Therefore, he made a summary and began to build up a new farming method.

He planted super grain of rich nutrition and equipped himself to keep his crops roots free from bacteria and pests. He also enriched minerals in the soil while reducing chemical fertilizers. Though it cost him more time and freedom, he was full of hope.

The next year, Tuan was sunburnt but satisfied with his production very much. Thanks to Yuan Longpin, he not only won the battle against hunger, but he could also export his crops abroad.

俊是一名越南的农民，几十年来，他都一直在努力使家人摆脱饥饿。然而，如何扩大他的农作物产量这一问题却一直在困扰着他。这个恼人的问题导致了他后悔当一名农民，而宁愿自己当初选择其它的工作。
