这两天，迪士尼选用“神仙姐姐”刘亦菲出演花木兰的消息刷屏国内外媒体。
美国娱乐界行业媒体《好莱坞报道者》（Hollywood Reporter）29日率先宣布，迪士尼已选定刘亦菲出演真人翻拍版《花木兰》女主角。
After a yearlong worldwide search, Mulan has been found.
经过在全球范围内长达一年的搜寻，花木兰的人选终于确定了。
Chinese actress Liu Yifei, also known as Crystal Liu, is set to star as the title woman warrior in Disney's live-action adaptation of the classic Chinese tale.
中国女演员刘亦菲将在迪士尼翻拍的《花木兰》真人电影中扮演女将军花木兰。该片改编自中国古典传说。

本片导演是刚刚执导了《动物园长的夫人》（The Zookeeper’s Wife）的尼克·卡罗（Niki Caro）。《十面埋伏》和《卧虎藏龙》的制片人江志强将担任监制。
考虑到外国观众可能对刘亦菲不太熟，外媒特别介绍了这位来自中国的“神仙姐姐”（Fairy Sister）。
美国全国广播公司（NBC）报道称：
While Liu may not be familiar to Western audiences, she is considered one of China's most popular actresses and has been nicknamed the “Fairy Sister” by fans and the media.

A team of casting directors visited five continents and saw nearly 1,000 candidates for the role, which requires credible martial arts skills, the ability to speak English and the most ineffable requirement of all: star quality.

显然，刘亦菲满足了扮演花木兰的全部要求。

而正如英国《独立报》（The Independent）的报道所言，我们的“神仙姐姐”在出演武打片方面有着丰富的经验。

Thoughts, emotions, sense perceptions,

❸ 明星气质
“神仙姐姐”的气质和颜值是不用说了。《好莱坞报道者》说：
Nicknamed "Fairy Sister" by the Chinese public for her pure and innocent looks and image, Liu has been one of the country's most popular actresses of the current generation since breaking out with a series of hit television dramas in the mid-2000s.
刘亦菲因为她干净纯洁的气质形象被中国观众昵称为“神仙姐姐”，从2005年左右的一系列大热电视剧开始，她就已成为中国最受欢迎的新生代女演员之一。

Liu has served as a brand ambassador for Dior, Tissot, Garnier and Pantene.

得知刘亦菲将饰演花木兰的消息之后，网友们十分激动，因为她将成为第一位扮演好莱坞公主的中国人（The first Chinese Hollywood princess）。
动画片电影《花木兰》拍摄于1998年，故事源于中国民间乐府诗《木兰辞》。
影片上映后风靡全美，还获得了奥斯卡金像奖、金球奖提名。中国演员能够在如此大IP中担纲主演，演绎来自中国的经典故事，怎能不令人兴奋。
影评人谭飞在接受《每日电讯报》采访时说：
“Mulan - a Chinese role - will be played by a Chinese person, even though it had always been played by people from the West before. And what is more important is that previously Chinese actors in Western movies played non-essential roles, but this time Liu will play the leading role.”
木兰作为一个中国角色，之前一直被西方人扮演，这次终于要由一个中国人来扮演了。更重要的是，之前西方电影中的中国演员总是出演不重要的小角色，而这次刘亦菲将担任女主角。
刘亦菲也发布微博，表达了要演好花木兰的决心。
同时，由中国人出演中国角色，也让呼吁迪士尼不要“洗白”（whitewash）花木兰的外国粉丝们颇感欣慰。
早在2015年4月13日，BBC就报道了反对“洗白”花木兰运动。
去年年底，还有粉丝为此专门发起请愿，呼吁迪士尼不要“洗白”花木兰。

Whitewashing, the practice of casting white Caucasian actors and actresses in roles originally meant to be characters of color, is all too common in Hollywood.

Disney just announced it will develop a live-action Mulan film. Mulan was based on a Chinese legend, the story of Hua Mulan, in which a young girl disguises herself as a man to serve as a soldier in the battle against an invasion launched by the Huns.

This disturbing trend of whitewashing in big-budget movies can't get a chance to take root in "Mulan" as well.
大成本电影中令人反感的“洗白”风气不应该出现在《花木兰》中。
Casting a Caucasian actor as a character of color, regardless of reason, has a direct, harmful impact on not only the movie itself, but the audience, as well as POC members of the acting community.
选择白人演员饰演有色人种，不论出于什么原因，都会对影片、观众乃至整个行业内的有色人种演员产生直接的不良影响。
为了增强全球票房号召力，好莱坞常选用白人演员出演有色人种的角色，这种做法广遭诟病。

Hollywood has attracted widespread criticism for casting white actors to play Asian characters. Tilda Swinton, Scarlett Johansson and Emma Stone have all played characters who were Asian in the source material.

文章肯定了迪士尼选择中国演员这一决定，也认可了刘亦菲的海内外知名度，但随后指出其电影作品成绩平平。
On Douban, China’s IMDb-esque film portal, Liu currently holds an average rating of 5.2/10 for nearly two dozen films with her starring roles, as Quartz calculated. In general, a Chinese production with a 7-plus rating would be considered a good one.
豆瓣相当于中国的IMDb电影资料库。据《石英》杂志计算得出，刘亦菲拍摄的二十几部电影在豆瓣上获得的平均分只有5.2分（满分10分）。普遍来看，只有获得7分以上才能算是好电影。
