About the Tour

Want to learn to hotpot like Genghis Khan? Never sampled flights of craft rice wine before? Hungry to discover the best chuanr spot hidden deep in the hutongs?   


Join our small group food tour and explore delicious, local dishes shoulder-to-shoulder with Beijingers in a traditional Hutong neighborhood. You’ll try authentic dishes that Chinese chefs have been perfecting for thousands of years, and learn about the history and culture of Beijing along the way.


Avoid the touristy markets and eat like a Beijinger with UnTour!

Price

Adults: RMB 560 (minimum 8 adult tickets for a private tour)


Kids (Ages 6-12): RMB 460


Tiny Tots (Ages 0-5): Free (if tasting not required. If the tiny tot would like a tasting, please purchase a Kids' ticket).

*Each child must be accompanied by an adult.*

Dietary Restrictions


• Vegetarians/Pescetarians are more than welcome and will find plenty to eat. We will make substitutions where possible. (If you’d like to book this as a private tour that features only vegetarian or pescetarian food, please contact us at the QR code below)


• Vegans will have a more limited selection, but we are able to make some substitutions.  (If you’d like to book this as a private tour that features only vegan food, please contact us at the QR code below)


Gluten-Free/Celiac: If the diner is ok with soy sauce, Zhenjiang vinegar and oyster sauce (we understand people with an intolerance can usually stomach these, but people suffering from celiac disease cannot), then the tour will have some options, but choices will be limited. 


• Seafood/Shellfish/Nut allergies have not been a problem in the past, however we cannot guarantee that the utensils and other cooking tools have not touched any of the food tour ingredients. Please bring your epi pen or other meds to the tour if you choose to participate.
