Resilient city and public health are the most concerned topics in China and around the world. The covid-19 pandemic has changed everything in our lives, including people's trust in the place and space where we work and live. It is time to rethink the design of urban systems to better withstand or respond to the pandemic public health crisis.
We will hold a forum on "resilient cities and what's next?" on August 13 to summarize the series of online webinar on resilient city from June to July. Together, we discuss and study current urban planning and architectural design to generate some suggestions on new urban development models, strategies and guidelines. We believe that this pandemic will profoundly change our life and future. Let's work together to make our city better!
