新冠疫情的持续让全球经济处于不断变化之中，ULI亚太区领袖午宴及对话会在新加坡莱佛士酒店举行，重点讨论地缘政治新局势如何改变亚太地区的商业经济。
约70名ULI资深会员出席了此次活动。与会的思想领袖包括新加坡外交部无任所大使陈庆珠（Chan Heng Chee）教授、东亚研究所所长兼新加坡国立大学李光耀（公共政策）学院实践教授Bert Hofman、凯德置地投资公司私募股权另类资产首席执行官潘博恺（Patrick Boocock）以及BentallGreenOak董事总经理Richard Price。活动主持人保德信房地产（PGIM Real Estate）董事总经理兼亚太区负责人、ULI新加坡主席Benett Theseira以及怡安保险亚太区企业客户首席商务官、亚太区房地产实务负责人Andrew Bisconte与来宾共同探讨了如何应对这些挑战。
@ULICapitalTalks 举办了最新一场线上活动。期间发布了第三版 《ULI亚太区房地产经济预测》。随后BentallGreenOak联合首席执行官Sonny Kalsi和KKR的合伙人兼亚洲房地产主管John Pattar进行了独家对话，分享了他们各自对亚太地区发展前景的看法。美银证券常务董事、房地产股票销售全球主管Sarah Cooper主持了上述讨论。
仲量联行亚太区首席研究官Roddy Allan为与会者呈现了上述预测报告，该报告聚焦亚太地区的六个城市--香港特别行政区、新加坡、东京、上海、悉尼和首尔，对房地产投资和开发项目进行了介绍。
由于亚太地区房地产界对低碳化和环境、社会和治理（ESG）方面的需求巨大，张婧（Jenny Zhang）被任命为亚太区ESG和低碳化总监。张女士将负责领导亚太地区的ESG工作，并将致力于实现房地产行业的低碳化，加速实现净零排放，提高整个建筑环境的价值，使其成为ULI实现全球使命的重要组成部分并为此努力。张女士将为亚太地区的受众定制全球研究、工具和培训计划，并为ULI的主要区域会议制定ESG主题计划，籍此帮助ULI推进其在亚太地区的净零碳倡议和思想领导力。

2022年ULI澳大利亚峰会呈现了一个完整的、引人入胜而发人深省的计划--从讨论城市及其社会结构、中央商务区角色的变化、未来住房乃至在创造以人为本的场所过程中区域起到的作用。之后在新建的澳大利亚室内乐团举办了社交活动，新老朋友们进行了面对面的交流。

2022年ULI日本春季会议线下成功举办
5月18日至20日，ULI日本围绕其年度春季会议举办了一系列活动，包括三次参访、青年领袖小组（YLG）导师计划启动仪式、ULI日本领导委员会会议和为期半天的春季会议。面对面交流让与会者倍感亲切，他们讨论了房地产行业各种趋势性的事务。下一次ULI日本年度会议将于12月1日举行。
ULI中国香港：粤语版UrbanPlan
受新冠疫情影响停滞五个多月后，香港UrbanPlan于5月重启面对面研讨会。本次研讨会堪称香港UrbanPlan的又一里程碑：本次在保良局何荫棠中学举行的研讨会首次以粤语进行。学生们的反馈非常积极。我们很高兴能在今年夏天将UrbanPlan推广至更多的本地学校。
ULI菲律宾会议将于6月23日回归
2022年ULI菲律宾年会将于6月23日在克拉克万豪酒店举行，届时将有数百名房地产和土地利用领域的专业人士参加，本届年后的主题是“过去、现在和未来--城市的演变”。会前会议于6月22日开始，6月24日上午将安排克拉克自由港区和新克拉克城的专属参访活动。诚邀您共享这个激动人心的时刻!
本次会议预计将以面对面的形式举办，同时可选现场直播形式。
ULI新加坡：特别参访——漫步榜鹅生态镇

With an enduring pandemic, a global economy in a state of flux, and fresh geopolitical tensions a catalyst for further disruption, ULI Asia Pacific Leaders Lunch and Dialogue at Raffles Hotel in Singapore focused on how new geopolitics is changing the economics of doing business in the region.
Attended by a senior gathering of around 70 ULI Full members, the event welcomed thought leaders including Professor Chan Heng Chee, ambassador-at-large, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Singapore; Bert Hofman, director, East Asian Institute and professor in practice, Lee Kuan Yew School, National University Singapore; Patrick Boocock, CEO, private equity alternative assets, CapitaLand Investment; Richard Price, managing director, BentallGreenOak, and moderators Benett Theseira, managing director, head of Asia Pacific, PGIM Real Estate and ULI Singapore Chair, and Andrew Bisconte, chief commercial officer, enterprise clients, Asia-Pacific and real estate practice leader, Asia Pacific, Aon to discuss responses to these challenges.
The latest @ULICapitalTalks virtual event on 27 May, featured the third edition of the ULI Asia Pacific Real Estate Economic Forecast followed by an exclusive conversation from global leaders Sonny Kalsi, Co-CEO, BentallGreenOak, and John Pattar, Partner and Head of Real Estate Asia, KKR, on their perspectives in Asia Pacific. Sarah Cooper, Managing Director, Global Head, Real Estate Equity Sales, BofA Securities, expertly moderated the discussion.
Roddy Allan, Chief Research Officer, Asia Pacific, JLL presented the report, which focus on six cities in the region—Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, Shanghai, Sydney, and Seoul—and gave colour to real estate investment and development projections.
With a huge appetite for decarbonisation and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) priorities in the real estate community across our region, Jenny Zhang has been appointed as the ESG and decarbonisation director—Asia Pacific. Zhang will be responsible for leading ESG in the Asia Pacific region and will be integral to ULI’s efforts to deliver on its global mission priority to decarbonise the real estate sector, accelerate the path to net zero, and increase building value across the built environment. By customising global research, tools, and training programs for the Asia Pacific audience and developing programming on ESG topics for major ULI regional conferences, Zhang will help advance ULI’s net zero carbon initiative and thought leadership in the Asia Pacific region.
The LG ThinQ Smart Home near Seoul provides a future vision for connected and energy-efficient homes. The home and its smart appliances work together to deliver a home free of stress, effort, and emissions. The technology and learnings from this project could inspire new developments worldwide.

Together, these words restate the mission statement in its most elemental form, reflecting and reinforcing ULI’s commitment to shaping the built environment with an eye toward the future, adapting collective experience to address pressing global and local challenges to effect transformative change in communities worldwide.

2022 ULI Japan Spring Conference Successfully Held in Person
On 18-20 May, ULI Japan held a series of events around its annual spring conference including three study tours, YLG mentorship program kick-off, ULI Japan Leadership Council meeting and the half-day conference. Participants enjoyed seeing one another face-to-face and discussed various trending real estate matters. The next ULI Japan conference will be held on 1 December.
ULI Hong Kong: UrbanPlan in Cantonese!
UrbanPlan-HK resumed in-person workshops in May, following a pandemic-hiatus of more than five months. In a milestone for UrbanPlan-HK, the workshop at Po Leung Kuk Celine Ho Yam Tong College was held in Cantonese for the first time. The feedback from students was overwhelmingly positive. We are excited to be bringing UrbanPlan to more local schools this summer.
ULI Philippines Conference is Back on 23 June
The 2022 ULI Philippines Annual Conference is taking place on 23 June at Clark Marriott Hotel, bringing together hundreds of real estate and land use professionals with the theme of Past, Present & Future—The Evolution of Cities. Pre-conference sessions begin by 22 June, and an exclusive study tour of the Clark Freeport Zone and New Clark City is set on the morning of 24 June. Join us in this exciting event!

Walking Study Tour of Punggol Town
The ULI Singapore NEXT Committee organised a walking study tour of Punggol Town, one of the nine 2021 ULI Global Award for Excellence winners. With the support of ULI Asia Pacific corporate partners Surbana Jurong and the Housing and Development Board (HDB), ULI members gained a richer understanding about Singapore’s first eco-town and the extensive planning behind this winning integrated 957ha township.
