和茶。我看窗外肥胖的鸽子

水族馆

我沿着气泡攀登

breakfast of toast butter jam

and tea. I watch a fat pigeon outside the window

guests all around in slow motion

an aquarium 

I ascend the bubbles

four piebald ponies in a splendid performance

look forward to oats

and the pleasure of munching on time

I ascend the thunderous applause

in the summer after bulldozers

I exchange glances with a stranger

death's the great master of stolen shots

such a singular eye

choosing camera angles

I ascend the stranger's aspiration

that grimacing bicycle racer

can't stop, can't escape the fierce current

like fingers playing piano

I ascend the melody

asleep while waiting for a train

someone set out on travels beyond their destination

the answering machine replies:

please leave a message after the beep

编者按：

诗人旅居的岁月，正如一个东方旅行者。“早饭包括面包果酱奶油 / 和茶”，独居次行的“茶”，与其他食物分开，它是源于东方的舶来品，被放逐到一个天涯海角的孤独角落。茶无法充饥，马儿们期待着燕麦，窗外鸽子肥胖，旅行者也许只期待着来自故乡的食物。
