Coming with three variants, the Air, Pro, and Max, the L7 lineup features a respective price of 319,800 yuan ($47,130), 339,800 yuan ($50,100), and 379,800 yuan ($55,970). Positioned as a family-oriented SUV, the L7 measures 5,050mm long, 1,995mm wide, 1,750mm tall. Its wheelbase spans 3,005mm, which is the same as that of the L8.

Aside from the Li L7 Air, the Pro and the Max all come with the Li Magic Carpet air suspension system. The system is adjustable on five preset ground clearance levels, which is convenient for all scenarios of family car use, including loading and unloading cargo, getting in and off the vehicle for passengers in need, high-speed driving, standard daily commutes, and off-road experience.

The other feature that Li Auto emphasized was the incredible legroom in the second row of the L7. The right passenger seat on the second row boasts a maximum legroom of 1,160mm when the copilot seat is pushed to the furthest. The second-row seats’ electrical controlled backrest can be set at any angle between 25° to 40°. The seat cushion measures over 52mm in length, providing more than enough leg support.

As to onboard experience, the Li L7 Air and Pro are both equipped with Li AD Pro autonomous driving system, whereas the Li L7 Max is powered by Li AD Max autonomous driving systems.

Notably, the startup uniquely added LiDAR to its AD Max autonomous driving system, becoming the first automaker to integrate LiDAR units with AEB functions. By doing so, Li Auto expanded the safety scenarios of LiDAR algorithms from major traffic participants such as vehicles, cyclists, and pedestrians, to irregular obstacles including odd-shaped cars and night scenarios.

The L7 Pro and Max will start delivery from March 1, while delivery of the L7 Air will kick off in early April.

Aside from the L7 Air, Li Auto also disclosed that it plans to introduce an Air version to the current L8 model with a price of 339,800 yuan ($50,100). Delivery of the Li L8 Air will start in April as well.

Along with the release of the Air models, Li Auto said that it will also cooperate with two domestic power battery suppliers, Sunwoda and SVOLT, both of which have set up dedicated production lines to produce the startup’s self-developed battery, “PACK”. The batteries from Sunwoda and SVOLT will be powering the L8 Air and L7 Air models, respectively, which offer the same performance, quality, and warranty policies as the Max and Pro models.
