The NIO ET5 Touring retains its predecessor's design aesthetic, while introducing exclusive touring features, including new wetland and sand modes. This enhancement is part of the company's continuous drive to cater to the diverse driving experiences of its customers.
The new vehicle offers two battery options: a standard 75kWh battery pack and a long-range 100kWh battery pack. NIO continues its flexible approach to ownership with both a full purchase and a battery leasing scheme. The full purchase price of the vehicle ranges from 298,000 to 356,000 yuan. For customers choosing the BaaS (Battery as a Service) scheme, both models require an upfront payment of 228,000 yuan with a monthly battery rental fee of either 980 or 1,680 yuan, depending on the battery capacity.

Styling cues from the original ET5 form the basis of the new model, with the distinctive Design for AD aesthetic featured prominently. The ET5 Touring’s front face is largely consistent with the sedan version, exhibiting a unifying blend of sportiness and power. This is complemented by its unique integrated daytime running lights and streamlined front hood. Ingeniously, the new model integrates sensor hardware, such as LiDAR and cameras, into the front tower-style sensor layout, ensuring a harmonious exterior design.

A standout feature of the new model is its rear-end design. The slightly upturned ducktail spoiler, combined with through-type taillights and large smoked rear surround components, offers a distinctive and recognizable profile.
With its various design offerings, NIO continues to provide ample room for customization. The exterior color palette alone consists of ten colors. Apart from the six base colors, there's the 2023 annual color "Dawn Gold," two exclusive colors for the ET5 Touring and ET5 ("Mirror Pink" and "Cloud Yellow"), as well as the 2022 annual color "Astronaut Blue."
In terms of size, the NIO ET5 Touring measures 4,790/1,960/1,499mm in length, width, and height, respectively, with a wheelbase of 2,888mm. Moreover, there are five wheel designs to choose from.

Inside, the ET5 Touring maintains the same design as the existing ET5, featuring a fully digital dashboard and a large central control screen. The interior experience is further elevated by a 1.35-square-meter panoramic glass roof, providing an expansive field of view and an enhanced sense of space.
Under the hood, the new ET5 Touring model shares the powertrain configuration with the standard ET5, featuring a dual motor setup with 150kW at the front and 210kW at the rear. This setup provides all-wheel drive capability. The vehicle also includes new wetland and sand driving modes and an upgraded snow mode, enabling a 0-100 km/h acceleration in just 4 seconds.
