Jesse Osborne Lanthier 是一位概念音乐艺术家，从2007年开始，他专注于通过混合不同声音材质刺激其他的认知反应。
他的资历深厚到我们可以不用去翻译英文简介，仅仅凭借他与制作人Rabit掌管的先锋厂牌 Halcyon Veil 和自己的 H Studio 发布的作品，就可以清晰的感受到其在探索音乐边界可能性上的出色表现与作为重新定义俱乐部音乐意义的进程的重要人物之一！

Halcyon Veil 是由来自美国的制作人 Rabit 于2015年成立的唱片公司及厂牌以及由 Jesse Osborne-Lanthier 担任艺术总监。短短几年间，这个组织不断扩大不断地发行新作品，在这个容易随波逐流的音乐场景中保持自己的独特的风格。在 Halcyon Veil 厂牌下发行过专辑的音乐人也多次入榜 FACT、The Fader 等各大音乐平台。与此同时 Halcyon Veil 也被 FACT 评选为 2017 年最佳厂牌之一。

他们通过不断与同行艺术家合作，他在这样一场运动中发挥着积极的作用，共同表现出强烈的社区意识，创造性的交流，不断地推动跨越声音的边界与社会对俱乐部的定义，从而开拓培养了一大批对传统跳舞音乐，保守主义，本国至上主义者感到厌倦的年轻人们！

旗下发表过音乐的艺人/艺术家，不仅有去年来中国演出过的 Whybe、Abyss X、NAKED 等。以及备受关注的音乐人 IVVVO、Angel Ho、Mhysa、Mistress、City 等。
整个Halcyon Veil厂牌的风格，也可以从下面他们在其社交平台上发布的专辑封面和图片中略知一二。
目光再回到这次的嘉宾：Jesse Osborne-Lanthier，他的作品从受dub影响的techno，再到静态音波的噪音音乐一直都具有结构性。并且他拒绝引用简单化或者可预测化的格式。顾名思义是你永远都想象不到 Jesse 会如何用他的音乐给你新的惊喜。

Jesse Osborne-Lanthier Asia Tour
Jesse Osborne-Lanthier：
Active since 2007, Jesse Osborne-Lanthier is a Montreal-born Berlin-based multidisciplinary artist and musician focused on inciting alternative cognitive responses via mixed sonic material. In 2014 Osborne-Lanthier released ‘Otherwise Insignificant Psyche Debris’, an album comprised of 22 live recordings from the course of the past few years, as a cassette and digital download via labels Hobo Cult and MIND Records. Focused on the concept of dispositional emotional regulation, the body of work deals with acceptance, avoidance, problem solving, reappraisal, rumination, and suppression. It contains remixes by Grischa Lichtenberger (Raster-Noton, Semantica), Vereker (L.I.E.S.), Hobo Cubes (Debacle, Where To Now?, Digitalis, Opal Tapes), VNDL (Kvitnu, Hymen), and Robert Lippok (To Rococo Rot, Raster Noton) and was mastered in collaboration with Vladislav Delay. It acts as the "exaggerated and terminal" follow-up to the collection ‘Athenaeum of Unedited, Superannuated, Incomplete, Unreleased, Intimate Works 2011-2013’, a selection of more rhythm-oriented pieces, again taken unedited from the main front-of-house mixing boards at his shows in Montreal, Berlin, Barcelona, and Nottingham. Osborne-Lanthier has assisted in the production of many albums including multiple Where To Now? releases and Maurizio Bianchi’s ‘The Mind Is An Ancient Capital’. He has toured America and Europe on many occasions, performing at festivals such as Mutek, Elektra, CTM and FASMA, performed alongside artists such as Kangding Ray, Adam X, Oneohtrix Point Never, Hans Joachim Roedelius, Bill Kouligas, Mark Fell, Factory Floor, Atom TM, Lee Gamble, Brood Ma, Mouse On Mars, Alva Noto, Mary Anne Hobbs, Mondkopf, N1L, Chino Amobi, Low-Jack and Yung Lean. His audio and visual works have also been featured in museums, galleries, clubs, venues and studios such as the Musée d'art contemporain de Montréal, The Nottingham Contemporary Museum, National Gallery of Canada, La Petite Mort, São Paulo Museum of Image and Sound, NK Berlin and EMS Studio Stockholm. Jesse is currently prepping releases for pioneering experimental pop king-pin label raster-noton and Rabit’s rapid ground-gaining Halcyon Veil imprint.

Alexmalism
Alexmalism作为Hong Kong Communtiy Radio的DJ之一，他除了定期在HKCR播放音乐之外，亦曾经在各地下场域包括XXX Gallery和Oil Club Shenzhen为Aisha Devi、z.u.t.z.u.t.和Howie Lee等音乐单位作支持DJ。他的音乐风格不断在变化，直到最近，他的DJ Set充满着地下俱乐部音乐和硬核音乐的元素，誓要冲击听众的耳膜。通过构建一个非常未来派的音景与神经机械声音，并结合几乎工业节拍的高度未来派的声景，以体现未来超资本主义的世界观。最近，他的乐曲《sombre》收录于伦敦泛亚洲厂牌Chinabot的合辑《Mental Maps》当中。
Alexmalism:
Besides playing regularly at HKCR, Alexmalism has been the supporting DJ of numerous artists including Aïsha Devi, Howie Lee and z.u.t.z.u.t. in XXX Gallery and Oil Club. By immersing avant-garde musical materials and underground club music elements, his experimental beats are a manifestation of his anxiety from his own conflicting, almost religious ego, to a futuristic dystopian imagination. His DJ set consists of music from the current underground club music to hardcore music. Through constructing a highly futuristic soundscape with cybernetic sounds and almost industrial beats, the music manifest a hyper-capitalistic worldview. Recently, his track ‘Sombre’ is included in the London pan-Asia label Chinabot’s complication ‘Mental Maps’.

2000年初，这位来自新加坡的艺术家开始了他的音乐之旅。不久后Bass, dub, house and jungle/dnb records就成为了他混音的不二之选。尽管他根深蒂固的音乐类型是hip-hop、soul、funk；但是他丰富多样的品味和唱片收集激发了亚洲各地的听众。他助阵过的音乐人有Samiyam, Kode9, The Bug,Goldie, Murlo, Mykki Blanco, Novelist 等。
PAC:
PAC renders moments of love and impulse through music, for the people. This multifaceted artist's voyage into music began early 2000's in Singapore, mcing at bass gigs and DJing hiphop at house parties after founding a love for jazz, soul and turntablism. Electronic music (Bass, dub, house and jungle/dnb records) soon made its way into his mixed bag of funk and skank as he embraced his energy as a selector.
While deeply rooted in hiphop, world funk and soul - his diverse palate and record collection has inspired insightful masses all over Asia, playing alongside artists from Samiyam, to Kode9, The Bug, and Goldie, to Murlo, Mykki Blanco, Novelist and more. PAC's creative process is to reach the hearts of the dancers and music lovers - you're bound to catch him mixing anything from rap, electronic and reggae, to jazz, asian funk and afro beat records.
