KONEKT is an organization which dedicated to the dissemination and development of digital creativity in sound, music, and audio-visual art. Its mandate is to provide a platform for the most original and visionary artists currently working in their fields, with the intent of providing an outlet of initiation and discovery for the audiences we seek to develop.
KONEKT’s principal activity is the annual presentation of its namesake festival.In terms of content, the festival’s range strives to be diverse, with interests in both the experimental and the playful sides of digital creativity.
KONEKT’s programming intends to create a sonic space that can support innovation in new electronic music and digital art. This is a world of constant evolution and incessant refinement – the “Connect” in KONEKT refers consciously to the notion of “Cooperation”.
KONEKT festival has presented a considerable number of renowned artists while simultaneously providing an important showcase for up-and-coming talent. Each edition offers a notable array of China, Korea, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Republic of China (Taiwan) and even international premieres.
The festival provides an open, inviting environment that encourages rewarding exchanges between artists, professionals, and the public; KONEKT is a point of convergence, drawing participants from all over the world to profit from a context of active discovery.
Many of the festival’s participants have gained concrete and positive opportunities from their involvement with KONEKT.
Always looking to maintain and develop its pertinence within its chosen community, from early on KONEKT has strived to expand its sphere of activities beyond the core festival. These initiatives have multiplied since 2014, both in Beijing and on the international scene: showcases, tours, and international editions of the festival, not to mention a record label.
Rrose (Eaux)
“Born 1969. Died 1909” 这是Rrose留在个人简介上的一段话。
灵感来自于法国实验艺术先锋马塞尔·杜尚的“Rrose Selavy”，一个杜尚的女性化形象的笔名，“Rrose Selavy”是杜尚的异性的一个她，杜尚的反艺术，跨越性别的观点呈现得人格化。在杜尚去世后50年的2018年，Rrose这个角色正代表着现代科技电子音乐的最先锋构想。

Rrose的首次亮相来在2011年，她的两张EP一张专辑在Sandwell District发行。
随后她在2012年成立了自己的厂牌Eaux，同时，她也频繁的在Further Records, Stroboscopic Artifacts, Infrastruture New York, Khemia Records等前卫实验Techno厂牌旗下发行作品。

她与Bob Ostertag, Charlemagne Palestine等音乐人共同创作，而最近的项目来自于与Stroboscopic Artifacts主理人Lucy的The Lotus Eaters。
她的作品在当时的世界电子音乐领域，迅速引起了极大的关注；带着早期电子音乐的纯粹和极简主义的影响痕迹，复杂而有序的层次处理，她用声音勾画了空间陷落般的深刻，前卫科技和神秘质感交错的声音设计。尽管抽象是电子音乐的最重要特质，但聆听者无法不从Rrose的音乐中感受到她的自我人格和情感。抽象的声音大部分是空洞的，就如所谓后现代艺术的广泛虚无，一旦刻意而为，终究只是无病呻吟的宣泄。

而Rrose的深刻和高级，不仅来自她的音乐天赋和技艺，而可能更多是艺术人格化和情感倾注；无论作为一个DJ, Live Act或是制作人，Rrose用她对细节的挑剔处理创造了一种声音生态系统，让她的音乐和思考延展开来，同时深入到心灵和身体的未知深处。
Born 1969. Died 1909. After the release of three EPs and an album on the Sandwell District label in 2011 and the launch of her own Eaux imprint in 2012, productions out on Further Records, Stroboscopic Artifacts, Infrastructure New York and Khemia Records including collaborations with Bob Ostertag, Charlemagne Palestine, Lucy, and others, Rrose has firmly established himself in the worldwide techno underground while remaining equally situated in the experimental and avant-garde artistic communities. Her tracks incorporate ideas from early drone and minimalist music as prominently as they do the history of dance music. Whether as a DJ, live performer, or producer, Rrose crafts sonic ecosystems with patience and attention to detail, allowing the music to unfold gradually while tapping into deep, uncharted recesses of both the mind and body.
Gordon
Gordon从90年代末开始涌入澳门地下⾳乐界。他的DJ Set建立在深沈⽽暗⿊的节奏上，加上工业风格的影响。随着⼀种极具吸引力的演奏氛围。他每次都能与每一个听众建立起独特的联系，从⽽引令他们进入他独有的 Techno 氛围。
最近他受邀至德国柏林最传奇的Techno俱乐部 TRESOR Berlin 作表演嘉宾，受到了众多好评。
2000年初，Gordon在澳门威尼斯人地下音乐俱乐部Club Lotus驻场。此后，Gordon多次与著名的电子音乐家⼀同分享舞台，如 Answer Code Request、Etapp Kyle、Bryan Kasenic、Eric Cloutier、Drumcell、Adriana Lopez、Dubfire、James Zabiela、Nick Warren等等。隨后，Gordon 开始把时间和精神集中在欧洲及亚洲地区，传播他独特的地下 Techno。亦曾在世界许多地方演出,如德国、日本、泰国、中国等。
From late 90s, Gordon began emerging himself into Macau’s underground musicscene. His DJ sets are built on deep and dark rhythms with a spacey groove coupledwith an industrial sound drums kick. With an engaging presence and a knack fortelling a story, he builds a unique connection with each audience, and works anyroom until it sweats.
Recently, He was invited by Tresor Berlin – One of the best Techno club in BerlinGermany and he got a lot of good comments for his set.
In early 2000, Gordon gained residency at one of Macau’s best underground club,CLUB LOTUS at The Venetian Macau. Since then, Gordon DJ alongside some of theworld most famous artists, such as Answer Code Request, Etapp Kyle, Bryan Kasenic,Eric Cloutier, Drumcell, Adriana Lopez, Dubfire, James Zabiela, Nick Warren, just toname a few.
Subsequently, Gordon began focusing his time and energy in spreading his uniqueUnderground Techno vibe all over Europe and Asia. He performed over a dozencities in the world, including Germany-Berlin, Japan, Thailand and China etc.
Sam Lai
受电子音乐影响多年的Sam Lai于6年前正式开始他的音乐生涯。因其出色的舞池情绪掌控力，相继受邀到深圳各大锐舞派对演出，并成为他们的常驻DJ。在多次成功举办各类型户外/仓库锐舞派对（隧道、公园、沙滩）后，Sam Lai保持谦虚的态度，不断磨练混音技术，他独特的个人风格日益明朗，在南中国的地下音乐圈开始崭露头角，备受好评。
过去两年间，除了曾受邀到深圳草莓音乐节、One Love电子音乐节、香蜜湖音乐节演出，Sam Lai也与众多著名DJ/制作人同台献技，如：英国Acid House先锋MR.C，台湾知名电子音乐人Elvis T，德国Kompakt旗下艺人Hiroshi Watanabe a.k.a Kaito，柏林Techno先驱Mijk van dijk，法国浪漫黑胶骑士Jack De Marseille，德国Berghain驻场Ambivalent，著名厂牌Perlon旗下DJ Bihn，Prime Numbers厂牌主理人Trus’me ，等同台演出。
他也是珠三角众多知名俱乐部的常客，如广州HANGOVER，深圳PEPPER，OIL，SECTOR，Public，MAGMA，DeSOUND，PEACOCK，DEMO等等。
以音乐为精神食粮的Sam Lai对选曲的态度就像厨师对食材一般讲究，深邃的情绪与律动的旋律糅合强有力的4/4拍，满足每一个挑剔的舞客的味蕾。他以深入浅出的布置为派对带来比音乐本身更丰富的东西，仿佛是一场听觉享受的完整的旅程。
Sam Lai, who’s been deeply influence by electronics dance music, started his electronics dance music journey 6 years ago. He had the experience of holding all kinds of outdoor rave parties (tunnel, park, beach, etc.) in Shenzhen since 2011. He continued to hone his mixing skills and built up his own style. He earned a good reputation in the underground music scene of south China.
He performed in Strawberry Music Festival, One Love Electronic Music Festival, Honey Lake Music Festival. He has invited to play with British Acid House Pioneer MR.C, Outstanding Electronic Dance Music Producer Elvis T, Hiroshi Watanabe a.k.a Kaito from Kompakt Germany, Berlin techno legend Mijk van dijk, France Vinyl Expert Jack De Marseille, Ambivalent from Germany, DJ Bihn from Perlon, Trus’me from Prime Numbers and many more. He has play at many famous venue in south China such as Oil Club, Pepper Club, Sector Club, Hangover, Public, Magma, DeSOUND, Peacock S.K.A, Demo Club and many more.
Sam Lai wants his audience to enjoy more than just music, he is the master at building atmosphere for party people.
