十余年前被诺基亚和塞班系统制霸的日子仍历历在目。犹记当时无论手机内存卡是32G还是有个128G，就算周末去网吧塞满了音乐，每天总有一段时间会打开手机的收音机功能，听个几小时的FM电台。
当年的你用的是诺基亚、索爱、LG还是小灵通？
流媒体横行的年代，许多人都认为电台会消亡，却忘了通勤的路上、安静的自修室，深夜躺在床上收听着广播里动听的歌、优美的文章、感人的故事和一些引人发笑的家务事，是生活在网络尚未普及年代里成长起来的年轻人最无法忘却的美好回忆。

电台拥有免费网络，超长待机，即使天灾停电也能收听的与生俱来优势。作为直播界鼻祖，还能在看不见和摸不着的情况下进行互动。在传播音乐的角度更是得天独厚，电视上放送音乐需要MV的配合，但不是所有的歌都会拍摄MV。但在电台播放音乐，如果DJ愿意，放一整张专辑都没问题。

免费的陪伴没有理由消亡
音频APP还未诞生之时的广播电台可谓热闹非凡，当时的黄金频道也不像现在只有交通广播，可选择的频道甚至比电视节目来的更加丰富，好比在GTA里开车驰骋洛圣都，每次调频，风格迥异的音乐都会带来莫大的惊喜。

2006年是被网络流行歌曲主宰的一年，《香水有毒》、《求佛》等歌曲风靡大街小巷，满屏幕都在拨打电话订购彩铃时，HitFm（中国国际广播电台劲曲调频）推出了一个频道——thePark嘻哈公园。
在资本还未介入Hip-hop的年代，“嘻哈”一词也不为人知。最初由WESCHEN与孔令奇创建于2006年的电台节目“嘻哈公园”是国内最早推广Hip-hop音乐的公共广播，在节目中会分享最新最经典的Hip-hop音乐，新闻以及俚语。

1985年来自纽约皇后区的Mc Shan发行了一首叫《The Bridge》的歌，赞颂皇后大桥和皇后区的一些地下组合，因为其中的一些词误导了大部分听众，以为皇后大桥是Hip-hop的起源地，也因此出现了Hiphop史上非常著名的Diss战——The Bridge War。

在美国，Hip-hop始于公园。在中国Hip-hop的开始或许并没有美国的环境，没那么火热，也没办法让广场上的大爷大妈一起Hip-hop，但是至少We got the park。这个信念也支撑着thePark嘻哈公园这个节目，一做就是十几年。

“我是尽量给你们保持真实的WES陈。”这是每期thePark的开头。在“Keep it real”一词听起来有点可笑的年代，却总能在这档没有任何收益的节目中听到好听的音乐，还有WES陈的大实话。
为了鼓励与推广本土Hip-hop文化，节目中设置了一个“Hot or Not 辣还是瞎”环节，每期会放两首中文说唱歌曲进行PK，由观众投票，优胜的歌曲下周将继续和另一首新歌进行PK，如果连胜四周，thePark就会邀请歌手到节目里做专访。

thePark嘻哈公园和Hitfm停止合作后并没有止步，而是不断的发展进化。从传统调频电台转型发展为线上电台，现在由WESCHEN与大宝主持着节目，保持着一周两更的高产频率的同时也开始拍摄视频、线下录制、开展全新派对企划LIVE&DIRECT等，源源不断的输出更加丰富有趣的内容。

2017年WES陈开始做自己的电台节目《声疗 SL.podcast》，每期都会邀请不同领域的朋友一起在节目中聊聊天。声疗不是采访，也不是访谈，只是两个朋友间因为一个话题的互相交流，有时候观点不同，甚至有点争执，这也让声疗跳脱出节目的概念，反而更加真实。

尽管资本介入了Hip-hop，嘻哈公园也并未在这波浪潮中得到任何红利，却收获了铁打的忠实听众和Respect。在大环境中thePark并没有选择随波逐流，十年如一日的坚持着Hip-hop自下而上的精神内核，并不断为文化与社群注入新的能量。
在一个人人都追求快节奏的年代，无论thePark、声疗、WESCHEN、大宝还是所有在坚持推广文化的朋友并没有被环境所左右，做的一切事就像在反其道而行，却也让在嘈杂城市里奔波忙碌的人，在难能可贵的碎片时间里放慢节奏，得到一丝庇护。
10月3日，thePark带着全新派对企划“LIVE & DIRECT”穿越电波来到深圳，秉持Hip-hop文化根植于一起Party、一起玩的氛围与灵感，带来各种风格的有趣音乐！WESCHEN、C.A.I.N、Cocoonics、N1K00将为你送上直接的舞池能量律动。
WESCHEN出⽣在LA，在加州⻓⼤，2000年回到中国，如今已经成为国内最具影响⼒的Hip hop⾳乐⼈之⼀。在2006年创办了中国第⼀个也是唯⼀⼀个嘻哈⾳乐电台节⽬“thePark嘻哈公园”，WESCHEN已经把他们的这个娱乐品牌从⼀开始的电台节⽬扩展到了⽹络也开展了另⼀档访谈播客节⽬叫 “声疗SL.podcast”，并且⼀直⽤他的多元⽂化思想和双语来把城市⽂化传播给⼤众。
2006年，“thePark嘻哈公园”在北京⾸播，⽴⻢成为当时最新意的电台节⽬，更为许多能⼒很强的地下⾳乐制作⼈们提供了⼀个可以展示⾃⼰才华的平台。他们很轻松简单的播报⽅式在当时的中国⾮常时髦，还很快的影响到了其他的主持⼈。在“thePark嘻哈公园”的电台节⽬中，WESCHEN在做DJ和MC时会很乐意的放⾮商业的⾳乐，钻研历史、语⾔、艺术以及关于Hip-hop⻛格的所有元素，这使得“thePark” 成为中国年轻⼈最喜欢收听的节⽬。
现在在国内Hip-hop已经成为主流⾳乐了，但在⼤多数主流媒体不放也不了解这种地下⽂化时，很多现在最有名的说唱歌⼿都是通过thePark播放他们的⾳乐给听众。
2017年WESCHEN跟Vice和Noisey的合作《川渝陷阱》的主持⼈带来的职业观点和国际好奇⼼给这部纪录⽚⼀种不同感。不仅在他们出名之前采访到四川与重庆两组最近最⽕的中⽂trap⾳乐⼈海尔兄弟和GO$H，这部纪录⽚深度去了解地⽅⽂化对他们⾳乐的影响⼒。

Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, WESCHEN has lived in China since 2000, and has unconventionally become one of the most influential hip hop personalities in the mainland. Founding member, host, and DJ of China’s first and only hip hop radio show called “thePark”, WESCHEN has expanded his brand of entertainment from radio to the web, and has continues to use his bi-cultural and bilingual voice to promote urban culture to the masses.
thePark first broadcast in Beijing in 2006, and not only immediately became the freshest show on the air, but also became a platform for skilled underground artists to exhibit their talents. Their easy freestyle approach to hosting was new to the Chinese airwaves and soon came to even influence other hosts.
Willingness to play new music outside of the commercial rotation, delve into history, language, art, and the ability to harness all elements of hip hop from DJ’ing to MC’ing, has made the show a favorite with the youth of China.
Hip hop is now is mainstream and accepted popular culture, and many of China’s now famous hip hop artists music and interviews were first aired on thePark.
In 2017 WESCHEN worked with Vice China and Noisey to create a two part documentary about the new found trap scene bubbling up in Southwest region of China. The series covers the Higher Brothers and GO$H at a time before they had become famous, and looks closer into how local dialects play a role in their appeal.
Aside from creating content and spreading culture and ideas, WESCHEN has always had passion for sharing music both through his content and live DJing. With foundations in hip hop, RnB, funk, and soul, a variety of beat-driven music is heard in WESCHENs playlist arsenal. Spanning genres throughout his sets, ranging from the aforementioned classics, to electro, trap, house, grime, soul, reggae, etc. is typical of his style.
2014年入伙电子音乐厂牌Do Hits，负责发行、媒体、活动等运营，也在厂牌成员的影响下开始涉足DJ、VJ。在小县城长大和不同国家城市生活的经历与对比，让她不断在第三世界音乐和文化中寻找跨越语言的身体律动。
2017年加入“嘻哈公园thePark”和WES CHEN搭档主持，是节目十余年来第一个女主持人。2019年主持了VICE中国与腾讯视频联合出品的中国电子音乐场景纪录片《触电中国》。
作为Eating Music的成员，Cocoonics在现场有着灼热的爆发⼒。SP404成为了她的标志，在效果器的加持下，更多玩味的、凶悍的、甚⾄是挑衅的⾳乐姿态从她的⼿下爆发。

Cocoonics曾受邀参加2018年香港 Clockenflflap Festival 和Sónar Festival，为 Honne、Phum Viphurt和Blood Wine or Honey的香港演出作暖场DJ，还有过在台北、上海、⼴州多地的演出经历，先前在香港HKCR⽹络电台的SP404 live set直播也为她积攒了不少⼈⽓。作为制作⼈，Cocoonics也参与了多张合辑，发布了多⽀精彩的单曲作品，今年夏天，Cocoonics⾸张创作EP即将发⾏。

她⾃去年从香港⼤学新闻系毕业，于今年正式入驻上海，专注⾳乐⽅⾯的发展。除此之外，作为平 ⾯设计师、⽂化记者与独立撰稿⼈，她将以多重⾝份在上海的⽂化场景持续挖掘，汲取养分。

As a member of the Shanghai-based label Eating Music, producer Cocoonics possesses a scorching power during her live performances. Using the SP404 as her iconic instrument, her playful and sincere sets swing from Hip Hop and Afrobeats to House, UK Bass, and Garage. With the blessing of the SP404’s effects, fierce and even provocative music breaks out from her hands.
Though just out of college, Cocoonics’ sounds have already earned her invitations to perform in the 2018 Hong Kong Clockenflap Festival and 2018 Sónar Festival, open for Honne, Phum Viphurit and Blood Wine or Honey, and tour in Taipei, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Hangzhou. Her live set on Hong Kong Community Radio (HKCR) in 2019 really got people hungry for upcoming releases. Since then, Cocoonics’ tracks have appeared on several compilations by Eating Music, and she is preparing to release her debut EP in fall 2020, featuring her own vocals.
After graduating from the Department of Journalism of the University of Hong Kong last year, Cocoonics moved to Shanghai to focus on music development. In addition, as a graphic designer, cultural journalist and freelance columnist, she will continue to dive into the cultural scenes of the city, with multiple identities to absorb nutrients.

N1K00, A.K.A Nikoo, comes from the southern-most city in China, on Hainan island and she lived and worked in Thailand for a while. She is deeply influenced by the island culture and HIP HOP culture. She is in love with OLD SCHOOL and FUTURE, but she is also able to change styles according to the gig and the scene. She hopes to find a balance between the old and the new. She believes that the rhythm of music is good medicine for the body and the soul.
