10/17 | 乘着东洋吹来的风在city pop的海洋上浪
80年代末，竹内玛莉亚的一曲Plastic Love从东洋飘到香港，并由梅艳芳所翻唱。瞬间，大街小巷都被这种洋气的音乐形式所折服。
自二战结束后，摇滚乐与放克乐被前来“援助”的美国人顺着太平洋的暖流南下带到日本，影响了自后日本音乐的发展。在70年代，这种植根于新音乐，披着软摇滚与热带风情外衣，杂糅了basa nova律动的新兴流派就此诞生。
city pop描绘的场景多数是度假生活，都市风光和爱情，以及崇尚享乐主义的状态，这与当时日本人民生活质量的节节攀升不无干系。
80年代的日本，诸如随身听，内置汽车音响的出现，扩大了人们收听音乐的渠道，并提高了音乐传播的速度。随着科技的发展与音乐制作水平的进步，city pop在80年代末期日本的经济泡沫中迎来了巅峰。

随着经济泡沫的破裂，city pop全盛的景象永远地留在了那个声光犬马的80年代。而它所留下的丰厚遗产，却在后来很长一段时间乃至如今21世纪10世代所继承。
不防说现今时代与80年代的日本是具有一定重合性的：科技飞速发展，物资过剩，经济泡沫，大城市享乐主义的盛行...另一方面，city pop的回潮和众多复古未来主义的本质相似，它带着年轻一代欲求逃脱现代社会枷锁的浪漫主义幻想,毕竟谁不想陷入一场80年代的美梦中呢？

10/17 Room2 シティポップ - City Pop！再次起航，由anormalturtle300, CYBERKID, N1K00轮番献艺，演出免票入场。当晚双厅开放，来自上海的Medusa降临OIL Main Room，除了Medusa俩主理人Michael Cignarale, Mau Mau以及其驻场解读(丸)和Yinan之外, 更有狠角色Sulk, Shy Beef, Yangyang加入，准备好散发那该死的魅力与迷人的骚气吧！

A normal turtle, decided to start her DJ career in the club scene during the pandemic, regularly shows up at OIL with her giant camera or be cooking on the turntables.
she has also been creating diverse her visual projects under the same name. Her personal artwork collection <self introduction manual> and individual project was exhibited on New Babylon Hong Kong 2019 and numerous cities around China. Growing up between the cultures from various regions gave her ambitions to create through diverse media from visual to audio.
当CYBER KID成为了某个现实中存在的人类的替身，它便重新踏上了寻找自我的旅程。将过去的旧数据清空后，CYBER KID开始重新面对实体的世界。成为了人类替身的CYBER KID毫无悬念的成为了一名DJ，除了为大家带来来自现实世界的扭曲声音之外也开始探索如何利用这些声音的混合物在实体舞池中制造未知的化学反应。
光能使者N1K00 a.k.a 你酷。从小深受海岛农卡文化与跳舞机文化的影响，浑身都充斥了新旧时代文化的冲击，是驾驶土味歌曲挖掘机的一把好手。秉持Groove至上精神，也从不受限于音乐风格。年龄的增长无法掩盖土味的童年，你永远预测不到她的下一首歌曲，到底会给你带来多少粉红色的回忆与惊喜。
N1K00, A.K.A Nikoo, comes from the southern-most city in China, on Hainan island and she lived and worked in Thailand for a while. She is deeply influenced by the island culture and HIP HOP culture. She is in love with OLD SCHOOL and FUTURE, but she is also able to change styles according to the gig and the scene. She hopes to find a balance between the old and the new. She believes that the rhythm of music is good medicine for the body and the soul.
