Well, I ran home to get my backpack. Butwhen I got home, I realized I had left my keys in the backpack.

我跑回家取我的书包。但是当我到家时，我意识到我把钥匙放在书包里了。

So I ran back to school without my keys ormy backpack. But by the time I got back to school, the bell had rung.

所以我跑回学校，既没拿钥匙也没有书包。但当我回到学校时，校铃响了。

Oh, no!

哦，不啊！

And by the time I walked into class, the teacher had started teaching already. She asked for our homework, but of course I didn't have it.
