I'm Rofel Nillos from the Philippines. I'm a simple and happy person, born in the zodiac of Pisces, and I love to party. I've been in China 8 years. First I was a student and now I'm working in China.
What’s your relationship status?
I'm in a relationship. We have been together 9 years. He lives in the Philippines.
How has it been being in a long-distance relationship in China?
It's challenging but everything is okay. We see each other once a year but everyday we talk. We are both busy and need to make sure we find time for us to talk on Wechat, especially because he works a day shift and I’m working a night shift. But we understand about our situation to make it work.
You’re a well-known bartender at Café de la Poste. How is dating at Café de la Poste?
I see a lot of people going on dates here, and Café is also a great place to go to just meet people.
Why is Café de la Poste a great date spot?
The small space makes people so romantic with each other. You can enjoy the music and dance together. Even if you don’t know how to dance, the crowd will make you dance.

Can you tell us any interesting date stories you've seen at Café de la Poste?
There's a lot to tell. In general, people get crazy when they get drunk. With the people around you at Café, it’s easy to mingle with the people. Café is like home to everyone and that gives you confidence to meet someone.
One time there was a couple on a date at Café. During the middle of night when the party was going, the guy's ex came in and it was kind of an awkward situation. But they just introduced each other and they became friends.
Like everyone says, the past is the past... but sometimes there are crazy and awkward moments!
