What is cuffing season?

Urban dictionary defines the term as:

"During the Fall and Winter months people who would normally rather be single or promiscuous find themselves desiring to be "Cuffed" or tied down by a serious relationship. 

The cold weather and prolonged indoor activity causes singles to become lonely and desperate to be cuffed." 

Basically once winter comes around, people are ready to go into hibernation mode - and who doesn't want someone to cuddle up with someone during those cold, long winter nights in China? 

When is cuffing season?

Cuffing season usually begins during the early fall and ends before Valentine's Day.
