课程介绍

随着全球化的发展，中外学术交流达到前所未有的高度，华人学生于海外高等学府（尤其英语国家）求学、深造的机会日益增加。本课由海外留学经验丰富的周全博士以中英双语讲授，通过基本乐理知识和曲式、和声等作曲技术理论，以及西方音乐史中各历史时期的音乐风格等内容的讲解，从而使听者丰富音乐相关的英文词汇与专业术语，熟悉音乐理论知识的英文表达方式，建立用英语学习音乐知识的基本逻辑与思维习惯。

Course Description

In the age of rapid globalisation, activities of academic exchange between China and the West have grown with an immensely fast pace. As a result, an enormous number of Chinese music students have pursued, are pursuing and will pursue studies overseas in recent years. Taught by Dr. Danny Zhou, who possesses rich experience of overseas studies at the tertiary level, this bi-lingual course aims to enhance students’ English listening and reading ability through the lecturing of basic music knowledge. It covers a wide range of English vocabulary of different areas of music theory and history, including tonality and harmony, musical forms and structures, and musical styles of different periods. The course equips students with essential listening and reading skills of English, providing students with the opportunities to learn and think about music in an ‘English’ way.

周全

英国伦敦京士顿(Kingston)大学本科学位，英国剑桥大学(Cambridge)哲学硕士学位，澳大利亚新南威尔士大学(UNSW)人文学博士学位，英国圣三一音乐学院音乐理论、分析及评论深造文凭，英国圣三一音乐学院钢琴演奏深造文凭，现任澳门大学高级讲师以及澳门理工学院客席讲师，主要教授并研究音乐理论及表演风格，学术论文曾多次刊登于中外权威期刊。

Danny Zhou

Danny obtained Bachelor degree from Kingston University, London, MPhil degree from the University of Cambridge, and PhD degree from the University of the New South Wales (UNSW) in Australia. He also holds the Licentiate Diplomas of Piano Performance and of the Music Theory, Analysis and Criticism conferred by the Trinity College of Music, London. Danny is lecturing at the University of Macau and Polytechnic Institute of Macau. His research articles have been published by leading journals of the field.
