The 11th annual get-together of Beijing's charity-minded foodies at 57 restaurants around town on Saturday, Nov 9 is bound to be our biggest and best ever.

Acting fast has its advantages -- the earlier you register, the greater chance you will have to be assigned your top preference.

We use a special method to assign tables for this event so as to maximize both the amount raised for charity and diner satisfaction.

This method involves first collecting your ranked preferences, and then using an algorithm to assign tables so that preferences are maximized across the spectrum of participants.

There's high demand for hosting this year, and less than 20 slots left – don't get bitten by the FOMO bug.

So how does this all work? The details are on the registration page and also repeated here:

a. Enter your contact details. Pay particular attention to adding your email and mobile phone number correctly, as this is how your confirmations will be sent.

b. On the registration page, please select 5 restaurants, in order of preference (#1 being your top choice). Those that fill out all 5 choices will be assigned first; if you list fewer than five or repeat the name of a restaurant, your preferences will be recorded *after* the other restaurants are assigned.

c. On Oct 9, the first round of registrations closes and we will contact you with your assigned restaurant.

d. Once you receive your table assignment, you will then have 48 hours to pay the balance for the table (the total price minus your deposit). If you do not, your table will be re-assigned and your deposit will go to charity :)

PLEASE NOTE: to protect the integrity of the assignment system, deposits are non-refundable. All cash – deposits and balances – are given to our designated charity, Bethel.

This year's charity recipient is Bethel, a training center for blind and visually impaired children established in 2003, and since its founding has cared for over 300 kids and assisted with over 130 adoptions.
