李宁欣 Li Ningxin
1990年生于山东,现工作生活于北京。创作媒介以行为、影像、文本为主, 对日常生活中“不可见的”精神空间和心理状态充满兴趣,创作中从自身感 知和生活经验出发 ,以切身的生命体验来映射当下的社会现实 。艺术语言时而 诗意,时而幽默,时而挑衅。
Born in shandong province in 1990, she now lives and works in Beijing and Shandong. The medium of creation is mainly performance, image and text, and it is full of interest in "invisible space". In the process of creation, it starts from its own perception and life experience, reflects the current social reality with its own life experience, and blurs the boundary between art and life. Artistic language is sometimes poetic, sometimes humorous, sometimes provocative.

麻将对常人来说,是能唤起内心愉悦的东西。但因我的父亲是个嗜赌如命的人,在童年至今的记忆中,麻将构成了全家人最深的痛。这种对父亲嗜赌成瘾的痛恨和不解在我体内已积聚数十年。
行为实施:双腿跪于桌前,手开始搓麻将,由缓至急,麻将也随着动作的猛烈从桌子上散落至四周的地面,手在空白的桌面上仍然一直在搓,在持续“搓”的过程中我试图与父亲的内心达成一种对话,愉悦与痛恨交织,疯癫与绝望并存,指甲在桌面上划过的声音细微却刺耳。

Mahjong is something that can evoke inner pleasure for general population.But for me, it evokes the pain in my heart. My father is addicted to gambling because of mahjong and ignores the family. So from my childhood, mahjong has become a hateful thing for the whole family. This pain has been hidden in my body for decades.
Behavioral implementation: With a kneel sitting in front of the low table, the beginning of playing mah- jong, from slow to urgent, the mahjong also scattered from the table to the surrounding ground with the action of the violent , the palm is still move on the desktop. In this process I tried to reach a dialogue with my father's heart. Pleasure and hate were intertwined. Madness and despair coexisted. The sound of nails on the table was subtle but harsh.

幼年时,我得了一种罕见的慢性疾病(重症肌无力)疾病的反复发作常令我感到沮丧,复发时,双眼无力抬举,复视,旁人会用疑惑甚至鄙夷的眼光审视我。
在抬举测试时,要求双眼抬起看向上方,保持两分钟,若期间无眼睑下垂,则为正常。我努力保持不眨眼睛,在这一过程中,双眼会自然分泌泪液。如果把分泌的泪液视为一种无声的语言,向上看就是有力的抵抗。我用自己的身体制造了一座无声的纪念碑。
我将这一检测行为做公开表演,希望观众能够思考人类的困境,在全球化背景下的群体生存状态,生命本体的脆弱性和内心力量(即精神性)之间的抗衡。

As a child, I developed a rare chronic disease (MG). The recurrence of the disease often makes me feel depressed, relapse, eyes are unable to lift, double vision, others will use doubt and even contemptuous look at me.
When doing to lift a test, requirement double eye raises look to upper part, maintain two minutes, if do not have eyelid droop during, it is normal. I try not to blink, and during this process my eyes naturally produce tears. If the secretion of tears as a silent language, looking up is a powerful resistance. I used my body to create a silent monument.
I perform this test in public, hoping that the audience can think about the dilemma of human beings, the group living state in the context of globalization, the competition between the fragility of life ontology and inner strength (i.e. spirituality).

Reveal yourself in a brave and provocative way through the process of violent kneading on women's breasts, re-examining the boundaries between public and private.
The picture is muted and creates a ambiguity. It is not known whether women have acquired sexual pleasure or suffered sexual violence. The lens language is both tempting and alienated, both erotic and anxious.

我用儿童的游戏水枪,对公共空间中的事物发起“挑衅”和指示,以玩笑、戏谑又看似无聊的行为,完成自我的“英雄式革命”这些看似幽默又无厘头的举动,隐藏着对权利和规则的极度质疑。
I use children's game water gun to initiate "provocation" and instructions to things in public space, and complete my "hero revolution" by making fun, joking and seemingly boring behaviors. These seemingly humorous and irrational actions show extreme questioning of rights and rules.

The words "I hate myself" in Chinese and English were made into stainless steel plates and sprayed on urban Spaces, including abandoned buildings, road isolation piers, urban villages, underpasses and pavements.
"I hate myself" is a common psychological state in a listless society, which carries a certain sense of shame and does not reveal it to outsiders. Under the stimulus of popular consumption, helplessness, loss, powerlessness and other negative emotions are buried. In the face of this spiritual violence, I choose a more "blatant" way to flirt with this overly positive society.
