第二届冰冻圈科学青年论坛【四号通知】

♦ 会议简介：

        冰冻圈是地球五大圈层之一，是指地球表层具有一定厚度的负温圈层，其中冰川、冻土、积雪等陆地冰冻圈覆盖了全球陆地面积的52-55%，储存了全球约70%以上的淡水资源，对区域乃至全球气候、水文水资源、植被、生态环境及工程服役等具有重要影响。冰冻圈对全球变暖极度敏感，是气候变化的“指示器”和“放大器”。当今世界全球性生态环境保护问题突出、区域水资源开发与利用面临挑战、北极航道安全保障亟需提高，在此背景下冰冻圈科学研究也被赋予了新的历史使命和责任。

        我国“十四五”规划中明确提出实施“川藏铁路”、“西部陆海新通道”等重大工程建设，以及“加强全球气候变暖对我国承受力脆弱地区影响的观测”、“极地立体观监测平台研制”等，这些战略规划为我国的冰冻圈科学研究带来了诸多新的机遇和挑战。

        冰冻圈科学学会青年工作委员会于2021年5月成立。冰冻圈科学青年论坛是由中国冰冻圈科学学会青年工作委员会主办的青年学者创新和交流平台，旨在通过学术交流为冰冻圈科学青年学者拓宽研究视野、追踪前沿动态、实现学科交叉融合创新。第一届冰冻圈科学青年论坛围绕多学科交叉的主题，于2021年5月在兰州成功举行，有效促进了学科间交叉融合，助推了青年学者间的思想碰撞与持续发展。

        为进一步加强冰冻圈科学及相关学科之间的交叉融合，促进冰冻圈科学研究领域青年科研工作者的合作交流，为冰冻圈科学的全面发展奉献智慧，经论坛组织委员会决定，拟于2023年4月1~2日在北京市召开“第二届冰冻圈科学青年论坛”。该论坛由中国冰冻圈科学学会青年工作委员会主办，北京交通大学、中国科学院青藏高原研究所和中国气象科学研究院承办，中国科学院西北生态环境资源研究院、青海省公路学会、中国科学院地理科学与资源研究所、东北林业大学、青海大学、清华大学、北京科技大学等单位协办。

♦ 会议议题：

        现热忱邀请从事冰冻圈科学研究和工程实践的地球科学、寒区工程建设、寒区地理和环境、寒区资源开发等领域的青年学者参会交流。本次大会的主题是：“面向国家重大战略需求的冰冻圈科学研究和工程实践”，大会设置以下议题（每个主题设召集人3-7名，联系人1名）：

        本次论坛热忱欢迎中外学者专家朋友参会，境内学者建议线下参会，境外学者或者受疫情影响无法参会的可线上参会。

        另外，本次会议还将组织博士后专场报告，并为优秀的博士后报告颁发获奖证书，以资鼓励。欢迎青年博士后报名参加专场活动。

        评奖规则：专场主持人2名和青年专家3名对现场汇报打分，按照平均分排序。

Special Issue "The second cryosphere Science Youth Forum " calls for papers

Special Issue Information

In order to broaden the research horizons of young scholars of Cryosphere science, track the frontier trends, and realize interdisciplinary integration and innovation, a youth forum of Cryosphere science was organized. The theme of this forum is "cryosphere scientific research and engineering practice facing the major strategic needs of the country". Young scholars engaged in cryosphere scientific research and engineering practice in the fields of Earth Science, cold region engineering construction, cold region geography and environment, and cold region resource development are warmly invited to contribute to this Special Issue.

Journal Introduction:

Research in Cold and Arid Regions (SCAR) is a bimonthly journal that publishes the latest research achievements in processes and the patterns of the Earth surface system in cold and arid regions in English. Researches in cold regions emphasize particularly on the cold-region-characterized physical, chemical and biological processes and their interactions, and on the response of cryosphere to global change and human activities as well as their effects on environment and the acclimatizable strategies; focus on the objects of glacier, snow, river, lake, sea ice, permafrost and seasonal frozen ground, and periglacial geomorphology, etc.; and think much of cold regions engineering and technology. Researches in arid regions emphasize particularly on the arid-region-characterized physical, chemical and biological processes and their interactions, and on the response of arid regions to global change and human activities as well as their effects on environment and the acclimatizable strategies; focus on the objects of desert, oasis, loess, and aeolian landforms, etc.; and support integrated studies on mountain-desert-oasis system in arid watershed with water resources as masterstroke, so as to provide reliable technological support for water safety, ecology safety and food safety in arid regions.

Information of “The second cryosphere Science Youth Forum”

The youth working committee of the cryosphere Science Society was established in May 2021. The cryosphere Science Youth Forum is an innovation and exchange platform for young scholars sponsored by the youth working committee of the Chinese cryosphere science society. It aims to broaden the research field of vision, track the cutting-edge trends, and achieve interdisciplinary integration and innovation for young scholars of Cryosphere science through academic exchanges.

The first cryosphere Science Youth Forum was successfully held in Lanzhou in May 2021 around the theme of interdisciplinary intersection, which effectively promoted the interdisciplinary integration and promoted the ideological collision and sustainable development among young scholars.

In order to further strengthen the cross integration of Cryosphere science and related disciplines, promote the cooperation and exchange of young scientific researchers in the field of Cryosphere research, and contribute wisdom to the comprehensive development of Cryosphere science, the Organizing Committee of the forum decided to hold the "second cryosphere Science Youth Forum" in Beijing on April 1-2, 2023.
