The July 2023 issue of TI Observer (TIO) focuses on China’s three Global Initiatives and the Belt and Road Initiative and their role in the evolving international system. Rooted in the tenets of China’s major-country diplomacy, these initiatives encompass basic principles, objectives, and ways and means on issues and challenges in global  development, security, and civilization. In light of current global challenges, China’s initiatives aim to complement and coordinate with international multilateral frameworks such as the AIIB and RCEP, while also forging alternative diplomatic pathways for developing nations.

Contributors to this issue of TIO provide their analyses and assessments of the BRI and the three Global Initiatives, offering their unique perspectives on the roles these initiatives play in shaping the global order.

《太和观察家（TI Observer）》七月刊关注中国提出的三大全球倡议与一带一路倡议给当今世界发展带来的新机遇。一方面，十年来，“一带一路倡议”项目在世界多国，尤其是发展中国家中稳步推进；另一方面，三大全球倡议开始在中国特色大国外交的基础上继续发力，就全球在发展、安全、文明三大领域中所面临的问题与挑战阐述中国观点，提供中国方案，发挥中国影响。面对全球挑战，中国的全球倡议与合作机制与亚投行，区域全面经济伙伴关系协定（RCEP）等一系列国际多边机制协同作用，互相补充，为发展中国家构建新的多边合作平台。随着中国倡议的付诸实施，本期TIO对一带一路与三大全球倡议的推进与落实进行回顾与分析，探讨如何推动中国的全球公共产品成为世界各国合作的有效平台。
