The 8th IDI - Italian Design Icons was successfully held in Shanghai from November 24th to 26th, attracting more than three thousand visitors to the exclusive 800 Show in Jing'an District.
2023年11月24日至26日，第八届意大利品牌设计展 （IDI）在上海静安800秀顺利举办。

THEME
Aligned with the theme of the Italian Design Day, an initiative promoted and organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and by the Ministry of Culture, the topic of this year's IDI Shanghai will be "The Quality That Lights Up: The Energy of Design Integrating People And Environment". This provides a valuable stage for IDI's Most Iconic Brands to delve into the excellence of Italian design, delivering products of the utmost quality and impactful design.
具体来说，为与意大利外交与国际合作部发起的“意大利设计日”主题相呼应，在意大利文化部的支持下，今年的IDI上海展将着眼于“闪耀的品质：为人与环境设计”，为 IDI 的品牌创造了一个探索意大利企业卓越和才华的宝贵机会，以提供最高质量和最具影响力的设计产品。

For the 8th Edition of IDI Shanghai, we are thrilled to have showcased a varied lineup featuring iconic Italian brands spanning diverse industries representative of the Made in Italy:

During the three days, a rich audience of more than 100 important international guests, from companies representatives, to industry experts and scholars, gathered during the three days of seminars, workshops and lectures to share their experience and perspective on how design and new technologies are supporting companies in achieving a positive impact on the environment.
在这三天里，100多位重磅国际嘉宾，从公司代表到行业专家和学者，在研讨会、工作坊和讲座中汇聚一堂，就设计和新技术如何帮助公司实现对环境的积极影响，分享了他们的经验和观点。

Our Icons not only exhibited the products and projects that best interpret their commitment to environmental sustainability, but they also had the chance to present to the public the way they leverage technological innovation and smart design for improving the quality of our lives.

Congratulations to the General Manager of Goglio (Tianjin) Packaging, Mirko Turrina, for being awarded as "The Most Influential Speaker" of the 2023 Italian Design Icons Shanghai Edition.

Additionally, this year's event also provided a platform for showcasing and competing with emerging design talents. On November 25th, Carlo Diego D'Andrea, Founder and Managing Partner of D’Andrea & Partners Legal Consuel, announced the list of winners for the "The Quality That Lights Up" design competition. Under the witness of participating guests, online and offline audiences, and the media, Alessandra Palumbo, Commercial Consul of the Consulate General of Italy in Shanghai, presented the award to the award-winning students of Xi'an Jiaotong Liverpool University. The three students happily accepted the iconic lighting gift from iGuzzini Lighting, and the applause and encouraging smiles on site were unforgettable!
除了IDI的传统奖项，今年活动还为新锐设计人才提供了展示和竞技的平台。11月25日，由DP集团意大利德恩瑞律师事务所创始人及管理合伙人代开乐先生（Carlo Diego D’Andrea）揭晓了此次以“闪耀的品质”为主题的设计竞赛获奖者名单。在参展嘉宾、线上线下观众和媒体的共同见证下，意大利驻沪总领事馆商务领事艾珊（Alessandra Palumbo）为获奖的西交利物浦大学学生颁奖。三位学生欣然接受依古姿妮灯具的标志性灯具赠礼，现场掌声阵阵，肯定和鼓励的笑容令人难忘！
