Hello27 is Going to Be a Burger Restaurant?

Hello27 has been our favourite place for quite some time. A restaurant comes along that feels like a breath of fresh air, a place that seems to get things correct, right from the start.

The food there is creative and well-prepared using fresh, high-quality ingredients and at friendly prices, they even serve free coffee. You can read more about our review of Hello27 here.

Their burger has quite a reputation, according to our Yank friends, they acknowledged Hello27 serves the best burger in town. What if we tell you that the owner Hong Feng's burger restaurant will be opened in Kerry Center next month?

Starbucks Partners with Alibaba on Coffee Delivery 

to Boost China Business

Starbucks has officially struck a partnership with Alibaba Group with a multipronged plan to boost the beverage company’s digital and physical presence in China, Starbucks President and CEO Kevin Johnson announced alliance early in August, 2018.

In the exclusive agreement, the global fast-casual chain will leverage all of Alibaba’s properties, including delivery platform Ele.me and supermarket chain Freshhema, to expand delivery services throughout China.

“This means that a customer that uses Alipay or Taobao or Tmall or Hema has an integrated Starbucks virtual store similar to the mobile app embedded right into that experience,” the CEO said. “That opens up 500 million or more active users of those apps that will have access to Starbucks.”

At Freshhema, the Starbucks Delivery Kitchens will complement the delivery of coffee and tea offered through existing Starbucks stores. The first of these fulfillment hubs have launched in Shanghai and Hangzhou in September, with other Delivery Kitchens opened in other cities over time. Starbucks also mentioned it would use Freshhema’s extensive consumer analytics to further penetrate and better serve the communities surrounding the supermarkets.

Aidan Killian Stand-up Comedy Show @ Eudora Station

Aidan Killian, investment banker turned comedian, now “consistently writes and performs the most committed, knottiest, issue-comedy shows on the Fringe” Chortle is on a one year world comedy tour.

He is one of Ireland’s most traveled comedians having sold out rooms in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Byron Bay, Sydney, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar, Malaysia, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Netherlands, USA and now he is proud to be returning to Edinburgh as part of ‘Heroes of the Fringe’  for his fifth solo show, The Money Shot.

Not only has he performed shows all over the world, he has also performed at peace festivals in the Middle East and Northern Ireland, he performed as a ‘highlight’ at Glastonbury Festival 2016 and now he resumes his world tour in South East Asia. He has made appearances on BBC, Russia Today, RTE, Channel 4, 98fm, 4fm, Spin fm, Bali Spirit Festival, Vodafone Comedy Festival. A grass-roots comedian and people-lover, he is Ireland’s only comedian to have done a sitting-room tour of Ireland or to leave  the stage at Electric Picnic, Ireland's largest festival, to initiate a giant group hug.
