Hangzhou International School was founded in 2002 to serve international children. As an IB World School, HIS provides a rigorous, high-caliber academic program for students aged 2-18. HIS offers students a strong curricular experience with excellent opportunities to develop individual talents and areas of interest. A hallmark of HIS is the community-centered atmosphere, which welcomes participation within our community and with external partnerships.

 Program Events: 

Last year at the International Day 2018, HIS had 1,200-1,400 people attending with over 50 countries represented by HIS students, parents and faculty.

HIS also had students, parents, teachers and members of the community performing during the celebration of International Day. Organize by HIS parents, there were many booths to showcase culture, food and traditions from their countries:

HIS is an IB World School that offers the expatriate community in Hangzhou an inclusive international experience and curriculum (Nursery to Grade 12) based on the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework. HIS is the first and only international school that is fully accredited by an international accrediting association and authorized by the IB.
