A Letter from Hangzhou Public Security Bureau

Dear foreign friends in Hangzhou:

We are sorry to inform you that according to requirements from the higher authority, the Hangzhou Public Security Bureau's foreigner visa window (No. 169, Jiangjiang Road, Hangzhou), which initially was scheduled to open on the 3rd of February 2020 for immigration affairs, will be delayed. Please wait for the further information about its opening time. 


During this period, if you encounter the following situations, please make an appointment in advance for immigration affairs by telephone (0571-87288600, 0571-88209209) or make use of the online visa appointment system:


1. Large-scale emergency business activities;

2. Visit critically ill patients and bereavement;

3. Treat critical disease;

4. Handling overseas emergencies;

5. The visa or residence permit is about to expire.


If you meet the above conditions, after making an appointment, when you go to handle your visa affairs, please try to reduce the time of stay in the hall. Wear a mask, and cooperate with those working on body temperature detection. If the body temperature is higher than 37.3 degrees Celsius, you will be requested to seek the medical treatment first.











A Full List of Global Airlines' Suspended Flights to China


Asian Routes

Air India: 

Mumbai-Delhi-Shanghai Pudong AI348/9 will be suspended from January 31 to February 14.


Air Seoul:

All flights to and from mainland China are suspended.


Asiana Airlines:

Temporarily suspend flights to Guilin, Changsha and Haikou from February.


Cebu Pacific Air:

From February 2 to March 29, all flights to and from China (Beijing, Shanghai, Xiamen, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Macau, Hong Kong) to Philippines will be suspended.


EL AL Israel Airlines:

From February 1 to March 25, direct flights between Tel Aviv, Israel and Beijing, China will be temporarily suspended.


Eva Air: 

Partial cancellation of flights to and from mainland China for two weeks started on February 2. In addition, the airline also has stopped providing towels, magazines, table clothes, and is limiting the use of blankets and pillows on its flights.


Jetstar Asia: 

Flights to Hefei, Guiyang, and Xuzhou are temporarily suspended till the end of March.


Lion Air:

All flights to and from mainland China are suspended from February.


Qatar Airways:

All flights to and from mainland China are suspended from February 3.


Thai Airlines:

All flights to and from mainland China are suspended from February 6, a full refund was offered. (Not verified, please contact the airline for confirmed information) 


VietJet Air:

All flights to and from mainland China are suspended from February.


Vietnam Airlines:

The Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen routes will be suspended from February 4, Chengdu will be suspended from February 5, and the Macau, Hanoi-Hong Kong route will be suspended from February 6, and Ho Chi Minh-Hong Kong will be reduced from 10 flights to 7 flights per week.



Oceania Routes

Air New Zealand:

From February 9 to March 29, Air New Zealand flights to and from Shanghai will be suspended. (* On February 9th, direct flight NZ288 from Shanghai to Auckland will operate normally)


Qantas Airways:

Flights from Sydney to Beijing and Sydney to Shanghai will be suspended from February 9 to March 29.



European Routes

Air France & KLM:

All flights to and from mainland China are suspended until March 15.


All Italian Airlines:

All direct flights to and from mainland China are suspended.


British Airways: 

Suspend all direct flights to and from mainland China. Currently, the British Airways website shows that there were no direct flights to mainland China before March 1.


Finnair:

From February 6 to 29, all Chinese mainland destinations will be temporarily suspended. Reservations for China Airlines will be temporarily suspended from January 31 to February 9.


LOT Polish Airlines:

All flights to and from mainland China (Beijing Daxing, Beijing Capital) are suspended till February 9.


Lufthansa:

Before February 9, all flights from Lufthansa, Swiss International Air Lines and Austrian Airlines to and from mainland China will be suspended.


Parts of Russian Airlines:

All flights to and from mainland China are suspended except for Beijing, Shanghai, and Hong Kong. all other flights to and from China. 


Scandinavian Airlines:

The Shanghai and Beijing routes will be suspended from February 1 to February 9, and air tickets to and from Shanghai and Beijing will be no longer for sale before February 29.


Turkish Airlines:

All flights to and from mainland China are suspended till February 9. Turkish Airlines' current destinations in China include Beijing, Guangzhou, Shanghai, and Xi'an.



American Routes

Air Canada:

All direct flights from Canada to and from Beijing and Shanghai are suspended before February 29.


American Airlines:

All flights to and from mainland China have been suspended except for Hong Kong till March 27. It has also been said that a decision on flights to Hong Kong will be made on a daily basis.


Delta Airlines:

All flights to Shanghai and Beijing will be suspended from February 6 to April 30.


United:

All flights to and from mainland China are suspended except for Hong Kong from February 6 to March 28.



African Routes

Egyptair: 

Temporarily suspend all mainland China routes. Hangzhou is suspended from February 1 and Beijing and Guangzhou will be suspended from February 4.


Royal Air Maroc:

Direct flights from Casablanca to and from Beijing are suspended from January 31 to February 29.




More Countries Control Immigration of Passengers From China


Australia:

Anyone arriving from China, except Australian citizens, permanent residents and their direct family, will be barred from entry to Australia.


Indonesia: 

Starting 00:00 on February 5, no entry and transfer for Chinese or foreigners who have been to China within 14 days.


Japan:

Prohibition of entry of confirmed patients.


Jeju Island, Korea:

From February 4, any Hubei household registration and foreigners who have been to Hubei Province are forbidden to enter.



New Zealand:

From February 3, no entry and transfer for Chinese or foreigners who have been to China within 14 days.


Singapore:

Started 11:59pm on February 1, except Singaporean citizens, permanent residents, no entry and transfer for Chinese or foreigners who have been to China within 14 days.


USA:

Started 5pm on February 2, no entry for foreign nationals who have been to China, and the US citizens who have been to Hubei within 14 days will be quarantined for 14 days.


Vietnam:

From January 31, no visa will be issued to foreign nationals who live in China for the past 14 days.



Yuhang District Has Suspended Public Transportation Today


Started at 3pm on February 3, 2020, the buses, taxis, didi, car rental, shuttle buses, airport lines in Yuhang District have all been temporarily suspended. The specific recovery time will be notified later.

Reserve Your FREE Mask


Since the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, the mask was out of stock over a night. To solve the problem, Hangzhou citizens (including non-Hangzhou residents) can make appointments to get your mask online for free! Since February 1, 2020, every day at 7:30pm, you can log on to claim your mask. 


Each person is limited to claim once within 10 days, and each time is limited to 5 masks.


If the appointment is successful, the official arrangements will be made for unified delivery.
