Shenzhen 27 Teachers and Students Were Infected by Coronavirus

Wu Bing, deputy director of the Shenzhen Municipal Health Commission, said on April 21 that Shenzhen had reported a total of 461 cases of COVID-19, and another 33 cases of asymptomatic patients are still undergoing medical observation. Among the teachers and students, a total of 27 people reported infection with coronavirus.

6 Teachers

Shenzhen reported a total of 6 teachers were infected with coronavirus, of which 5 confirmed cases (4 discharged and 1still in hospital) and one asymptomatic patient who has been already lifted from quarantine.

21 Students

Among the students studying in various schools in Shenzhen, a total of 21 infected students were reported, of which 16 confirmed cases who have been discharged from the hospital; 5 asymptomatic patients, 4 were lifted from quarantine, and one is still in the hospital.

Among them:

10 primary school students, 7 confirmed, 3 asymptomatic patients.

7 middle school students, 5 confirmed, 2 asymptomatic patients.

4 college students are all confirmed cases.
