Only half a month before the start of school, many schools in Shanghai issued a reminder yesterday: it is forbidden to leave Shanghai from August 16, otherwise it will affect the normal enrollment of children.

It is suggested all teachers and students of primary, secondary schools and kindergartens should conduct self-observation in Shanghai 14 days before the opening of the schools on September 1st.

Today, a school in Hangzhou issued a notice to parents:

Dear parents,

Following the requirements of the relevant epidemic prevention documents of the superior, we urge teachers and students to reduce going out and avoid participating in various gathering activities.

In principle, teachers and students should not go abroad or to the areas with medium and high risk of epidemic. They should return to Hangzhou 14 days before the start of school.

The person in charge of the relevant departments of Hangzhou Education Bureau said that Hangzhou is currently studying the scheme and will announce it to the public as soon as possible.

A number of primary and secondary school principals said that they had not received a notice forbidding teachers and students to leave the province, but asked teachers and students to report to the school of leaving before the holiday.
