《南洋中华文学与文化学报》，英文名为：Nanyang Journal of Chinese Literature and Culture (NJCLC)。本刊以新加坡为基地，广邀世界各地中华文学与文化学者，成立顾问委员会和编辑委员会，由新、美、中三国学者担任联合主编，刊载中华文学、文献、经学、历史、思想、文化等领域的研究成果，力求成为沟通中西方的桥梁，形成跨学科、跨地域的学术交流，承继传统，创造新境，在南洋发出学术声音，赢得国际声誉。
学报编辑部设于新加坡南洋理工大学中华语言文化中心（CCLC@NTU Singapore）。三位主编分别为：新加坡南洋理工大学曲景毅，负责古代文学与文化、南洋文学与文化的中文投稿以及刊物的行政运作与协调；美国哈佛大学田晓菲，负责英文稿件（暂以古代中国为主要征稿范围）；中国北京大学贺桂梅，负责现当代文学与文化的中文投稿。
学报荣幸地邀请到北京大学资深教授袁行霈先生与哈佛大学特级教授宇文所安（Stephen Owen）先生出任顾问委员会主席。新加坡南洋理工大学副校长连萧思女士担任特别顾问。
学报一年拟刊载两期（分别在5月底和11月底），每期6-8篇左右学术专论，以及书评和学术资讯。创刊号定于2021年11月出版。
学报为中英双语，中文与英文稿的比例大致保持在3:1。除纸本刊行外，将同时以网络出版，在线提供免费阅读和下载。
学报拟设置的内容分类有：特稿、专辑、中华文学与文献研究、中华历史与文化研究、南洋文学与文化研究、研究生论坛。
学报已得到新加坡贤达人士蓝智聪先生一笔一次性善款，用于前期筹备与刊物启动。近期又喜获新加坡“连士升青年文学基金”每年固定资助，用以保持刊物的正常运作。此外，还将持续寻求本地及海外的其他团体及个人的经费支持。
Nanyang Journal of Chinese Literature and Culture (NJCLC) is a bilingual journal in Chinese and English that publishes in-depth and original scholarship of Chinese literature and culture.
NJCLC is based in Singapore but co-edited by scholars from Singapore, the United States and China. The publication content of NJCLC will mainly focus on Chinese literature, but the scope may extend to the fields on text, history, intellectual history, religion, literary culture, as well as Nanyang Chinese literature to seek for the interdisciplinary and transnational study.
NJCLC will publish two issues per year (every May and November) and each issue may include 6-8 articles (or special issue), book reviews or relevant academic reports. The inaugural issue is to be published in November 2021.
NJCLC will publish scholarships in both Chinese and English. Overall the ratio of the Chinese and English manuscripts will be 3:1. The English-language part will be primarily focusing on traditional China.
The editorial office is in the Centre for Chinese Language and Culture at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. The editors-in-chief are Qu Jingyi at Nanyang Technological University who is in charge of the submissions in Chinese (pre-modern part and Nanyang Chinese literary studies as well as the administration), Tian Xiaofei at Harvard University who is in charge of the submissions in English, He Guimei at Peking University who is in charge of the submissions in Chinese (modern and contemporary parts). There are 16 more scholars over the world on the editorial board.
NJCLC has invited 30 senior scholars on Chinese literature and culture to form the advisory board. Senior Professor Yuan Xingpei at Peking University and University Professor Stephen Owen at Harvard University are the Board Chairs. Professor Yuan graces the Journal cover with his calligraphy. Ms Lien Siaou Sze, Vice President of NTU will be Special Member of the Advisory Board.
NJCLC will publish every issue online in addition to print copies so more people can read fast. After 4-5 years, we hope NJCLC can be recognized internationally and accepted by CSSCI overseas edition or the other database.
Fundraising: NJCLC has got a one-off donation from Mr Lam Chih Tsung for its initial preparation work. We also obtain the yearly support from Lien Shih Sheng Youth Chinese Literature Fund in Singapore.
