  • Capacitance can be enhanced if electronic subsystem bas a negative quantum capacitance

    This may destabilize the total system, but counteracted by positive contributions like from the electrostatic enery

  • Strong attractive nearest-neighbor interaction can  enhance the capacitance in the extended Hubbard model

    Non-monotonic behavior of capacitance as function of on-size repulsion U
