个人简介

蔡子，2005年毕业于武汉大学物理科学与技术学院，2010年于中国科学院物理研究所凝聚态理论专业取得博士学位。先后在美国加州大学圣迭戈分校，德国慕尼黑大学，奥地利科学院量子光学与量子信息研究所从事博士后工作。2016年9月加入上海交通大学物理与天文系任特别研究员，博士生导师。主要从事凝聚态物理以及相关领域的数值计算和理论方面的工作。主要研究领域涉及强关联电子系统，光晶格中的超冷原子,开放的量子多体系统，机器学习方法在物理学中的应用等方向。发展并推广了多种量子多体计算方法，如量子蒙特卡洛与密度矩阵重整化群方法，并将其应用到凝聚态物理与原子分子物理，量子光学，开放量子系统，机器学习与人工智能等前沿学科的交叉领域，拓宽了量子多体物理的研究范畴。
