报告摘要


Mechanically soft electronic devices are the next-generation wearable devices to enable an accurate, long-term monitoring of physiological signals for ultimate personal healthcare systems. In this talk, I will first talk about the development of metal-elastomer based stretchable electronic materials utilizing the self-assembly of microstructures. Then, I will also talk about the flexible organic-semiconductor based optical imagers to enable high sensitivity and high-resolution imaging. Lastly, a system level integration of such soft electronic materials and devices will be presented to form a body area sensor network.

主讲人介绍



Naoji Matsuhisa is an Assistant Professor of Electronics and Electrical Engineering at Keio University (from April 2020). He received his PhD degree from the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Systems in the University of Tokyo in 2017, advised by Prof. Takao Someya. He then worked as a postdoc advised by Prof. Xiaodong Chen in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. From 2019, he experienced another postdoc advised by Prof. Zhenan Bao in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Stanford University in the U.S. He has focused on stretchable electronic materials and devices. His representative work includes a printable elastic conductor with a record conductivity, a body area network of soft sensors, and flexible organic imagers, which have been published in Nature Materials, Nature Electronics, and Nature Communications. Furthermore, his work was highlighted by many non-scientific journals including The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, and CNN.
