报告摘要
Quantum simulation is one of the important directions of quantum manipulation. Basically, it refers to using artificial quantum many body systems, such as ultracold atoms, arrays of photon-coupled microcavities, etc, to simulate actual quantum systems or theoretical significant quantum many body models and to achieve theirs diversified status via manipulation for artificial systems. Here, the ultracold atom system is one of the most important platforms for quantum simulators. With the emergence of new control methods, novel matter phases will appear in the many body cold atom systems. In this talk, we will introduce our progress in both the metastable solitons in the three-dimensional space and the exotic spinor vortex matter on Haldane spherical surface.
主讲人介绍
周正威,中国科学技术大学教授、博士生导师。长期从事量子信息和量子光学的理论研究。近年来研究主要集中于:量子调控和量子模拟,量子信息与多体物理。共发表SCI期刊论文113篇,其中Nat. Commu. 2篇,Nat. Photon. 1篇,Phys. Rev. Lett. 6篇,Phys. Rev. A&B 55篇。被SCI正面引用1240多次。
