【远读】“女性主义和中国实践“系列演讲

女性主义实践是一场极其重要的革命，它的革命性就在于它是一种全方位的挑战：从社会结构到意识形态。同时，女性争取解放、反对压迫、坚持正义与平等的实践在不同的历史阶段和不同的社会、族群及国家中又有各自不同的特点和侧重点。而这些不同的特点和侧重点又随着更大范围的历史和国际环境的变化而变化。

因此，理解女性主义，需要一个新的具有社会历史宏观性的框架，既要力主实践在全球范围内的多向流动，又要继续警惕西方特有的支配形式；既要联系历史，又要考虑地缘政治因素，从而涵括它在各地所呈现的各种形态及这些形态之间的相互关系，尤其是重新综述和整合中国社会主义妇女解放的实践和经验。

妇女解放、性别革命、女性主义实践在历史上向来都是世界政治经济发展和社会文化变迁的一个重要组成部分；而当今全球化的时代则迫切要求女性主义实践者联手开创出具有世界宏观意义的理论和实践，在批评反思的同时形成同政治经济社会密切联系的新价值体系。

《坏掉的土豆》Broken Potato

Mysterious holes appear in a town, spurring crowds to pursue their desires. This metaphorical film uses the holes as various aspects of an entity, providing rich, newspaper-like information in each animated frame, which imitates the act of keeping up with the fast-paced contemporary world.

《黑盒》Undetectable Box

This short film brings to life a surrealistic portrayal of a teenager's blossoming secret crush, with vivid imaginations and lively rhythms. It is a kaleidoscope that illustrates the rich, vast, and ever-changing world ensconced within a teenager’s mind, and delves deep into the realms of communication and subconsciousness, enlightening the viewer about the hidden dimensions of the human psyche.

《物语》the memory of mine

Dir. Li Zhengwu｜China｜30 min｜OV with EN&CN subs

Amidst urbanization and historical progression, an old house that represents the ebb and flow of generational existence is facing its fate of being demolished. A mother and son revisit the house to bid farewell to their past. The film is inspired by the imminent destruction of the director's ancestral home for railway development.

《熊猫熊猫》Panda Panda

Dir. Zijie Zhou｜US｜6 min｜OV with EN subs

On an ordinary morning, a girl experiences unexpected sexual arousal triggered by a television scene depicting the mating rituals of pandas. The film projects female desire in an extraordinarily surreal fashion and a fantastical manner.

《陌路狂欢》Strangers In Paradise

The short film documents the endeavours of "Chilldo", a Chengdu-based underground party collective dedicated to creating LGBTQ+ friendly events in southern Chinese cities. As the curtains fell on the year 2020, they leaped into the embrace of the new year. 

《相聚一刻》Water Under the Bridge

Dir. Yichuan Zhang｜China｜16 min｜OV with EN&CN subs

Two girls, back in their hometown of Yibin, forge an unexpected connection through a Tinder match. Through the lens of the female director, she wants to explore intimate female dialogues and bonds, and contemplate an existential query: will the world change us, or will we change ourselves?

We will surprise you with authentic Sichuanese cuisine! Our experienced chef from Sichuan will take you on a gastronomic journey straight to the heart of Chengdu. Savor the famous Sichuan peppercorn's numbing heat, the exquisite Sichuanese popcorn chicken, sweet and sour rib, and enjoy vegan options too: pommes frites in Sichuanese style, spicy cold noodles, and Sichuanese fruit jelly,  all authentically representing the region's food culture. 

Drinks

We will take you on an aromatic journey with our special cocktails- “Jasmine Rain” and “Spicy Moli”! 

“Jasmine Rain” is a harmonious blend of East and West-this cocktail begins with a juniper-rich gin, harmonizing perfectly with the sweet fragrance of Sichuanese jasmine flowers. A carefully steeped jasmine infusion blends with the gin, creating a balance of potency and soft floral notes. With a sip of this drink, you will be teleported to the Sichuan terrain, amid its soaking summer rain, while smelling a hint of the freshness of the Jasmine flowers. 

Similar to “Jasmine Rain”, “Spicy Moli” also contains gin and Sichuanese jasmine flowers, but the real twist here is a dash of Sichuan peppercorns, introducing a tingling, mildly spicy note. Served in a chilled glass with a jasmine and peppercorn garnish, “Spicy Moli” is a sensory exploration, weaving together gin's boldness, jasmine's serenity, and pepper's exciting kick.

CiLENS is a Berlin-based, non-profit film curation project that explores cinema as a space for transcultural dialogues by showcasing Chinese independent films that are rarely exhibited. The curatorship mainly focuses on socio-political issues regarding women, migration and urbanization represented in Chinese filmmakers’ works.

The Event

创设于2002年的耶鲁莫里斯·格林伯格世界学者项目（Maurice R. Greenberg World Fellows Program，以下简称为耶鲁世界学者项目或World Fellows Program）是耶鲁大学的全球领导力发展旗舰项目，现隶属于耶鲁大学杰克逊全球事务学院国际领导力中心。每年，项目通过从全球各地竞争激烈的候选人中筛选出16名来自不同学科/职业背景的杰出人士，在耶鲁大学进行为期四个月的学术强化和跨界交流，旨在帮助他们的提高才能进而让世界变得更好。截至2023年，项目已经拥有来自96个国家或地区的超过400名世界学者组成的社区网络。

2023年世界学者项目吸引了来自超过170个国家或地区的候选人申请，入选的16名耶鲁世界学者中有一位中国面孔。她是王彬彬，中国自主培养的第一位气候传播博士，一位活跃在国际舞台和中国一线的社科学者和气候活动家。6月30日，她将做客耶鲁北京中心，聊一聊她眼中的全球治理机遇与挑战，气候危机解决方案、职业生涯与内在成长的双向奔赴，女性领导力及实现人生使命之路。

The World Fellows Program is Yale University’s signature global leadership development initiative and a core element of Yale’s ongoing commitment to internationalism. The mission of the World Fellows Program is to enable extraordinary individuals, from across the globe and from diverse disciplines, to increase their capacity to make the world a better place. The program is the heart of the International Leadership Center, housed within the Jackson School of Global Affairs. Each year, the University selects 16 individuals from a highly competitive applicant pool for an intensive four-month period of academic enrichment and leadership training. This cohort brings the total number of World Fellows since the program’s start in 2002 to over 400 Fellows, representing 96 countries.

Dr. Binbin Wang, a social scientist and climate activist, who has tracked the UNFCCC (United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change) process since 2009 as a trusted witness, passionate advocate, creative expert, and multi-talented practitioner, is a 2023 World Fellow and the sole 2023 World Fellow from China. On June 30, she will share her insights and outlook on our world order, the climate crisis and the pressing need to save our planet, as well as her life's journey, from Antarctica and beyond.

世界大学气候变化联盟执行秘书长

王彬彬，中国自主培养的第一位气候传播方向博士，2009年开始其气候征程并坚守至今，拥有丰富的跨行业工作和管理经验，是中国参与全球气候治理的见证者、实践者、推动者和研究者,致力于研究并推动全球气候治理机制创新。2019年，她入选“家园归航”全球女性领导力计划，与28个国家90位女性科学家同赴南极考察，2021年与队友合著出版《我们选择的自己》。2022年，其英文学术专著被施普林格自然出版集团提名“中国新发展奖”。目前，她正带领团队开展“气候变化协同”全球行动，面向全球大学生培养碳中和未来的青年领军者，设计并与全球百余家伙伴共同发起“全球青年气候周”。2023年，王彬彬入选耶鲁世界学者。

Binbin Wang

Executive Secretary-General, Global Alliance of Universities on Climate

Binbin Wang is a climate activist and social scientist. A stubborn optimist, she has tracked the UNFCCC process since 2009 as a trusted witness, passionate advocate, creative expert, and multi-talented practitioner. She offers extensive expertise on global climate governance and policy, nature-based solutions, strategic communication, and multi-stakeholder cooperation between government, NGO, media, business and academia. Her monograph about China’s green transition was published by Springer Nature and received a nomination at the China New Development Awards in 2022. She is now the Executive Secretary General of the Global Alliance of Universities on Climate (GAUC) and sit in the core leadership team of Institute of Climate Change and Sustainable Development at Tsinghua University. Because of her outstanding leadership in the field, Binbin was selected as a member of Homeward Bound, a worldwide female leadership program, and visited Antarctica in 2019 with 90 female scientists from 28 countries. As a well-respected influencer and super connecter, she is now accelerating bottom-up actions and joint efforts between China and the world toward the global net-zero transition.
