The Hong Kong Center for Construction Robotics (HKCRC) led by Prof. Zexiang Li is seeking highly enthusiastic, self-motivated, dynamic, and academically excellent candidates to fill several post-doctoral positions for flexible innovative construction robotics projects.

HKCRC is an innovation research center aiming to bring advanced robotics and AI technologies to the construction industry. Jointly established by Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), University of California, Berkeley (UCB), and Tsinghua University in 2020, we create innovative solutions and prototypes empowered by transformative research to tackle immediate and emerging industrial challenges in construction.

The primary responsibility of the post-doctoral to investigate and develop innovative solutions and prototypes in the field of construction robotics. The post-doctoral will also need to support project-based innovative engineering teaching and supervise course-based projects. 

Applicants Should Possess

1) A strong background in a related engineering subject (preferably in CSE, ECE, MAE, etc.) having completed a Ph.D. degree.

2) Very strong problem definition and solving skills.

3) Preferably teaching/learning experiences in innovative engineering, industrial or product design; able to lead hands-on tutorials; successful industry or start-up experience is a plus.

4) Very good communication skills of spoken and written English and Mandarin (or) Cantonese. 

5) Able to work independently and collaboratively.

Remuneration and Conditions of Service

Salary is highly competitive in international standards and will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. (Duration: 1-2 years, renewable)

The appointment is expected to commence as soon as possible.
