Crackdown on illegal property loans
The Chinese capital’s bank regulator has ordered an investigation into the illegal use of personal loans to invest in real estate amid growing fears of a property bubble.
The Beijing branch of the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission told banks in the city to conduct a comprehensive examination into personal and business loans issued since the second half of last year.
They must “immediately rectify problems found and strengthen internal accountability”, according to a report by state news agency Xinhua, which cited an unnamed bureau official.
Banks will be held accountable if they are found to have allowed “illegal inflows of consumer loans and loan funds into the real estate sector”, the report said.
Strong sales in some cities in recent months have raised concerns among policymakers that the real estate market might be overheated, prompting new measures to control funds flowing into the sector.
In December last year, the People’s Bank of China and the banking regulator jointly announced new caps on banks’ exposure to the property sector and mortgage lending.
The new regulation came amid an increase in the share of property lending in overall bank loans and recent signs of overheating in the property markets of some higher-tier cities, according to a research report by Fitch Ratings this month.
“Property-related loans accounted for 28.8 per cent of overall outstanding loans, including a record high of almost 20 per cent from mortgages, at end of the third quarter of 2020,” the report by Fitch Ratings said.

惠誉国际评级的报告称：“与房地产相关的贷款占到总未偿贷款的28.8％，其中2020年第三季度末，住房抵押贷款已经达到20％的历史最高水平。”
根据评级机构穆迪周四的报告，2020年，中国房地产合同销售额的价值同比增长10.8％，而2019年的增长率为10.3％，主要是由于平均售价上涨所致。
穆迪表示，北京和上海等一线城市的价格涨幅在12月略有上升，从上月的3.9％上升至4％，但较10月的4.1％略有下降。
穆迪表示：“由于信贷条件趋紧，我们预计2021年全国房地产销售增长速度将放缓。合同销售面积在2020年增长了3.2％，高于2019年的1.5％，这反映了尽管2020年初新冠疫情造成了干扰，但住房需求仍然强劲。”
Huawei's founder has apologized for using company power to register a trademark for artist daughter
Huawei founder Ren Zhengfei apologized during a Huawei's internal online forum for registering a trademark for his daughter Annabel Yao under Huawei's name, media reported on Wednesday.
Yao Siwei, Ren's daughter, made her debut as an entertainer on January 14. Annabel Yao and Yao Anna are her stage names. Huawei on January 25 applied for trademark registration Annabel Yao, Yao Anna in several categories, with the current trademark status shows as being in the "trademark application" stage, according to company information platform Tianyancha.
Based on media reports, Ren made the apology at Huawei's online community Xinsheng Shequ on Wednesday, with a statement stating that some companies or individuals maliciously preempted the registration of Annabel Yao and Yao Anna trademark and Huawei had to register otherwise the trademarks would become the property of outside parties.
"According to the provisions of China's trademark law, citizens of Chinese mainland must use the name of the company or hold an individual industrial and commercial business license to apply for trademark registration. Yao has just graduated and has yet to register a company. Therefore, Ren has entrusted the intellectual property department to register trademark as the agent, and will later transfer them to Yao's studio, and she will pay the full cost of the application," read the statement.
The statement also said that it was the first time Ren used the company power for private purposes, for which he apologized to all employees.
According to Tianyancha, there were applications from four entities, including Huawei, of Annabel Yao and Yao Anna trademarks right after her debut as an artist.

1、姚思为是任正非女儿，姚安娜是她的艺名。
2、社会上有些公司或个人恶意抢注姚安娜商标，我们不得为之。若自己不注册，商标会被持续的恶意抢注，有许多不利的地方。根据中国商标法的规定，中国大陆公民必须用公司名义或持有个体工商营业执照才可申请注册商标，姚安娜刚毕业，还没有注册自己的公司。因此，任总委托知识产权部代理注册，以后再转让给姚安娜的工作室，费用由她支付。
3、任总是第一次公权私用，为此向全体员工道歉。
近日，天眼查App显示，华为技术有限公司新增多条“姚安娜”“姚思为”“YAO ANNA”“YAO SIWEI”“Annalbel Yao”的商标信息，国际分类涉及教育娱乐、机械设备、科学仪器等，申请日期为2021年1月25日，目前商标状态显示为“商标申请中”。
Employee fired for refusing to work from home during holiday
A man has been awarded 194,000 yuan in compensation after the company fired him for refusing to bring his laptop computer to work from home during the Spring Festival holiday. The company appealed against the decision but was rejected by the court on Monday.
The man, surnamed Zhang, who worked at a consulting company in Shanghai as a software engineer, was fired after the Spring Festival of 2019. Zhang's company asked him to take his computer home on the grounds that the customer he was responsible for may require emergency services during the holiday.
Zhang rejected the company's order as he wanted to relax and spend the holiday with his family without any work obligations.
He was later informed by the company that he had been fired because he "maliciously refused and delayed performing the tasks arranged by the company, and violated the company's working hours regulations," according to the dismissal notice.
Shanghai Pudong Court affirmed that the company's termination of its labor contract with Zhang on the grounds of violation of regulations was illegal, and should therefore compensate Zhang for the contract termination, overtime wages and other expenses.
程序员拒绝春节加班被开除：判决获赔19.4万
近日，上海一位程序员，因春节拒带工作电脑回家被开除，最终法院判决该公司赔付该程序员共计19.4万元。
公司不服已上诉，但最终被驳回了原判。公司称小张春节休了27天假，在这期间拒绝联系、上演“失联”。而被要求加班的小张则认为春节就是放假，为何要让我加班？没有义务工作！
被开除后，小张申请劳动仲裁，要求公司支付违法解除劳动合同的赔偿金19.4万元以及加班工资等费用。
