Playing Ketchup with Curtice Brothers!
First things first, a bit of an admission. I don't really like ketchup, never have. I mean, I'll dip my fast food fries in it if no other condiments are available, but it would always be my last choice. So, when Andrew said that two bottles of ketchup samples were heading my way for tasting I wasn't that excited. That changed once I popped the tops though. Damn, if all ketchup was like this I'd be more like my old flatmate Chris, who basically lived off the stuff.
Curtice Brothers have been making ketchup (amongst other things) since all the way back in 1868, and it shows. This is ketchup as a high class table condiment. Ketchup that's organic, contains 77% tomatoes (always fresh, never from concentrate), 50% less sugar and 55% less salt than the leading brands, made in Tuscany with locally sourced ingredients, and it all comes in a reusable glass bottle. Oh yeah, and it also tastes amazingly good. Which is why they've won multiple Great Taste Awards.
Or more to the point, what fantastic ketchups do I now have in my fridge?
We've got both Curtice Brothers original organic Ketchup, and their even better (in my opinion, but then I love all things spicy) Chilli Ketchup. Whether you've got a barbecue on the go, you're making a quality bacon sarnie, or you just like drinking it straight from the bottle (like Chris), these are the ketchups for you!
