Many Chinese people who were born between the 1970s and 1990s remember (or chose to forget) taking photos with makeup like below at some point in their childhood:



Personally, I was three years old when my parents forced me to take a series of photos just like the one shown above.   


Hearing of this news, Chinese netizens turned over to their (and others') childhood photos again, and sure enough, they were eye-catching and very… Chinese! Hahaha!
