Wholesale Giant Opens First China Store Next Week!!

It has officially been confirmed: the first Costco wholesale store in mainland China is set to open on August 27 this year!

With 770 stores around the world and counting, Costco’s wholesale model operates on the basis of selling large, cost-effective products as well as global membership cards.

In case the name doesn’t ring a bell, it’s the giant store that sells the ginormous teddy bears everyone’s been yakking about. 

Luckily, freakishly tall teddy bears aren’t the only big-size products sold at Costco. Pretty much anything and everything can be found in XXXL size.

And its range of offerings spans across a galaxy far, far away…

The new China base will cover an area of 20,000 square meters, with a membership card fee of RMB 299.

Costco's new customer benefits page also says:

Among its benefits, Costco’s new webpage mentions vouchers of RMB 100 for those who sign up for the membership card before grand opening on August 27. 

That gives you a membership fee of only RMB 199.

Tens of thousands of ecstatic diehard fans have already claimed their discount since applications opened on July 1.
