Can’t read the instructions or menus? Don’t know how to type Pinyin to check their meanings? Too difficult to type in everything so you just order whatever picture looks nice? 

WeChat is here to save the day.

Many readers must already know this function. But we'd like to review it and let the newcomers to know. :)

Click “➕” on the right top, choose “Scan”. 

Or you can go to the Discover page and choose “Scan”.

Press “ Translate” on the bottom right.

Take a picture of the text you want to translate or choose a picture you’ve taken from the album.

Wait for the magic to happen.

You can always compare these two pictures by pressing the “A” on the bottom left.

Vila - easy peasy lemon sqeezy. Since it’s our daily used app, it’s handy and fast, and works way better than many other translation apps.

But please note that this function can only work as Chinese/English translator for IOS system - Android user will have to wait for a while. 😛

You can also translate text the old-fashion way by long pressing it and tapping “Translate”

And of course, you can always “Untranslate” it whenever you want.
