A white wedding dress walking down the aisle towards the person you love: this is the dream in most girls' heart.

On April 30, Zhang Juan is finally able to live out her dream to Cao, in Bian Tang Town, Xuzhou City, Jiangsu.

With blessings and love surrounding them, beautiful bride Zhang walks slowly on stage towards her groom, Cao as he waits at the end of the aisle for her in his wheelchair.

In 2007, Zhang and Cao met, then 3 years later they applied for their marriage license but due to their financial problems, the put the wedding on hold.

Cao told Zhang, “I’m going to make a lot of money and give you a special romantic wedding, build a home, and family together.”

After getting their marriage certificate, the couple lived apart in Suzhou and Chongqing to make more money. Cao worked 2 part-time jobs as a driver and interior decorator.

After struggling for years, they were able to get their own house in 2015 as their son and daughter entered primary school.

Cao and Zhang were planning their wedding until an unfortunate accident happened. Cao was electrocuted while working on a construction site in Chongqing.

In critical condition, after hours of surgery, and emptying all of their savings into medical bills, Cao made it through, however, his body was temporarily paralyzed. He could not walk or move on his own.

Zhang took care of her husband and their 2 children. Every day she massaged his body, helping him roll over and taking care of his basic daily needs.

After 4 years of care, Cao finally saw improvements, so the couple decided to carry on with their romantic wedding.

True love works wonders. Wishing Cao and Zhang a long happy life together!
