Leehom Wang is an artist/producer/writer with SONY BMG Taiwan. He is also a film actor. He graduated from the Eastman School of Music, Williams College, and the Berklee College of Music. Leehom did not study Chinese until he was 17 when he went back to China to be a pop singer but is now fluent in both speech and writing. 你  这   么   美。         （You are so beautiful.)

    Měi：beautiful  

This character has two parts, the upper part is 羊 yáng （goat) and the downer part is 大 dà （big). In the ancient time, Chinese ancestors thought the bigger the goat is, the more beautiful. And also this character looks like a man wearing goat's horn or feathers to decorate himself, which was considered to be beautiful at the old time.

                            Nǐ zhè me

The expression 你  这   么+  adj. means “ You are so...”. For example:

 Nǐ zhè me cōng míng ，yī  dìng huì míng bái.

  你  这   么    聪    明    ，一  定   会    明   白  。

（You are so clever, you will understand for sure.)
