Traffic cops also get a bad rep, but luckily for their occupation, some go above expectations to make our driving experience less stressful.
Taking matter in his own hands, the officer in the below video keeps traffic flowing smoothly in a very amusing way to replace one of the malfunctioning traffic lights and let drivers know how many seconds drivers have left.
When it’s go-time, he uses his own traffic signal to indicate that they can now drive on.
His name is Liang Siqi, from the Hunan Shaoyang traffic police force.
His efforts were born out of an earlier notice of vehicles waiting at the traffic light for longer than they were supposed to due to the malfunctioning traffic light.
This is when Liang Siqi came up with the idea of (1) providing a fun and stress-free live experience for drivers waiting impatiently at the intersection, and (2) facilitate proper traffic in such a busy intersection by standing in the middle and using clear indications to let drivers know when they could continue on their journey.
