City Releases China's First Job List in Shortage for Foreigners

On January 26, the signing and settlement ceremony of major projects of Shenzhen-Hong Kong cooperation was held in Qianhai, Shenzhen. A series of policies and achievements benefiting Hong Kong was released and signed from the aspects of talent training, space expansion, and industrial agglomeration.
Qianhai Administration Bureau and the Chinese Academy of Personnel Sciences have conducted in-depth research on more than 1,500 key enterprises in Qianhai and formed a set of Professional List of Short-needed Foreign Talents in Qianhai specifically for foreign talent needs and closely connected with the market.
It can be divided into two categories: demand-type scarce occupations and strategic scarce occupations, including 50 kinds of occupations such as risk underwriter, intelligent industrial design specialist, enterprise digital manager, supply chain management specialist, cross-border business dispute resolution lawyer and so on.
This is the first list of jobs in short supply for foreign talents in China.
For foreign talents who meet the "Professional List for Foreign Talent Shortage in Qianhai", Qianhai will maximize the convenience of entry and exit management services such as visa, stay permit, work and residence permit, permanent residence, recommendation letter of permanent residence, and life service for foreign talents.
Qianhai has set up the International Talent Service Workstation, which integrates 243 entry and exit management services for foreigners and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan residents from Shenzhen Municipal Science and Technology Innovation Commission, Shenzhen Municipal Public Security Bureau and Shenzhen Municipal Human Resources Security Bureau into the workstation, and will provide one-stop services for international talents.
