A security guard in China has been fired for posting an x-ray image of a woman's suitcase containing sex toys on social media. 

The man had been working as a guard at Guangzhou-Foshan subway when he noticed the items inside the traveller's luggage during a regular security screening. 

He was sacked after authorities discovered the post on Weibo, with Guangzhou Metro condemning the incident as 'leaking passenger privacy'. 

The security guard had asked to look in the woman's bag after the x-ray detected metal objects. 

Inside he found a whip, lingerie, an anal plug, a dildo, and other electric adult toys. 

He sent the x-way image in a group chat, writing: 'There are many beautiful women in Guangzhou, but they are not so serious.

'She looked like Lin Chi-ling in her plaid skirt, but she had this in her bag.' 

Someone noticed the post on social media and complained to the police, saying: 'How can someone as bad-mannered as this qualify as a security guard?

'Who gave you the right to take photos of commuters' personal belongings and leave inappropriate comments?' 

The security guard claimed he had sent the images to a friend, who posted them online without his knowledge. 

He was sacked from his position and handed over to Foshan police last Friday. 

Guangzhou Metro said in a statement: 'We have zero tolerance of any action leaking passenger privacy.

'We have now asked our security check unit to investigate, restrict staff behaviour, and conduct legal and professional training to avoid similar incidents from happening again.'
