Update, on June 28, police reported that the Moroccan men Arsalane Em and Kheraouch B had committed an offence of assault. The two men were placed in administrative detention for seven days and fined 500 yuan.

The Chinese man and two women are said to have spent the night at the club when they met a Moroccan man.

At 5 a.m., they arrived at a restaurant.

During the meal, the foreign man called two other Moroccan men to come.

The two Moroccan men, who had been standing around the table, had somehow argued with the Chinese man.

The foreigner, who had been sitting in his seat, got up.

He showed no offense by stopping the other person with his hand.

At that moment, the conflict escalated and the two foreigners hit the man directly.

There have been rumours of clashes between foreign men trying to chat up Chinese girls. In fact, this is not real.

Sources familiar with the talks said the conflict is simple. The three foreigners were chatting in Moroccan dialect, the Chinese said they didn't understand or they all spoke in English, the other said we were talking about our own business and it was none of your business, so they started to fight.

One of the Chinese women made exaggerations on social media platforms to stir up public opinion.

The police notice said the woman had made it up and that her actions constituted a public disorder. Given the lady's willingness to admit her mistake, she has been fined 500 yuan by law.
