China's National Immigration Administration said it will temporarily suspend issuing entry and exit certificates unless it is urgent and necessary.

According to a press conference held by the National Immigration Administration on July 30, China is facing a severe situation to prevent imported COVID-19 from rebounding.

The National Immigration Administration will pay close attention to the global trend of the epidemic, continue to adjust policies and measures dynamically, further tighten the defense line against foreign imports, make every effort to maintain border security and stability, and resolutely prevent the spread of the epidemic through entry and exit channels.

China will continue to crack down on cross-border illegal and criminal activities to prevent illegal immigrants from entering China.
