When signing up for the 2023 HSK3-6 you must add the HSKK
Notice on the combination of the written and speaking Chinese Proficiency Tests (HSK) in China
Chinese Language Test Centers:
In order to promote the high-quality development of the international Chinese language test, according to the Chinese Proficiency Grading Standards for International Chinese Language Education, it has been decided that the Chinese Language Proficiency Test (HSK) will be implemented in China (including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) from January 2023.
Specific arrangements are as follows:
When registering for HSK Level 3 it is required to register for the HSKK Primary Level.
When registering for HSK Level 4 it is required to register for the HSKK Intermediate Level.
When registering for HSK Level 5 and Level 6 it is required to register for the HSKK Advanced Level.
At the above levels, HSK written and speaking test result reports will be issued together.

What is HSKK?
It’s HSK Speaking Test (HSKK) , assesses the test takers’ oral Chinese abilities, and consists of three levels, HSKK (Primary level初级), HSKK (Intermediate level中级) and HSKK (Advanced level高级).
For now, HSK1 and HSK2 do not have to sign up for the speaking test.
Combining the written test and the oral test can give better and more realistic feedback on the comprehensive level of Chinese learners. This is a good thing!
On the other hand, this requires Chinese language learners to pay more attention to spoken.
Chinese Surfing offers HSK classes, both small group (2-4 students) and private 1-on-1 classes, both online and in person (in Hangzhou), and cater to everyone from beginners through HSK6 to help improve their ability to communicate in Chinese.
