Kurt Stocker
Dr. Kurt Stocker is a private professor in the Department of Psychology at University of Zurich. He is interested in a wide range of topics in linguistics from embodiment, mental time to consciousness studies and applied consciousness studies in clinical psychology and psychiatry, which is reflected in his publications. He specializes in semantics, psycholinguistics, cognitive science and cognitive psychology. He leads the Project Consciousness Studies which psychologically researched levels of consciousness are the conscious, preconscious, unconscious/subconscious, and non-conscious levels of mental processing and the Project Depression, Ketamine-Infusion Therapy and Altered States of Consciousness which investigates whether altered states of consciousness (ASCs) that may occur during ketamine-infusion therapy are associated with antidepressant benefits.
